The Hellraisers is the pilot episode of REBELReloaded's fanfiction, Glee: Make it or Break It's first season. It is the introduction of new characters auditioning for the revival of New Directions. It was released on January 28, 2013. The premiere garnered positive reviews with an amount of over 20 comments in the last 24 hours of its release.

Plot[]

Mr. Schuester quits coaching New Directions to pursue dreams with his wife, Emma, and to fill in the space of the group, Holly Holliday takes the spot as the new coach, much to Sue Sylvester's surprise. Meanwhile, new and fresh talent is noticed around McKinley, and so is drama. Can Holly help to gather the troubled and the talented to revive Glee Club again?

Episode #1: The Hellraisers[]

The alarm clock loudly rings on the side of a boy's bed. The boy slowly reaches the clock and stops it as he hops out of bed and hits the bathroom shower. A song began to play on the radio as he jumped in the shower. Minutes later, he grabbed a towel, wrapped it around his waist, showing his back tattoo and another one on his right muscle.

He went back to his room, and grabbed a black shirt with designs around a Skull and Bones, then slipped on ripped jeans that showed his kneecaps, and black and white Adidas sneakers that lifted the tongue in the middle, blocking the bottom of his jeans.

He lifted up his hair as he stood in the mirror, sprayed cologne around his body, and grabbed a leather jacket, then stood in the mirror again, checking out his style, and winked. He closed his door shut and ran downstairs out of the house. His mother stopped him.

"Sweetheart, no breakfast?" The boy's grandmother said, he replied, "Sorry, not hungry," as he walked out of the door. His mother shrugged as she went back into the kitchen with her daughter and husband.

The boy strutted as he walked to McKinley High, with a smirk on his face that suddenly attracted all of the girls around him, he winked. As he walked inside of the school building, all of the students suddenly stopped, and some moved back. The boy strutted through the halls, and then stopped as he spotted a nerd and made him flinch. The nerd moved back helpless, and the boy nodded, chuckling, "Loser." Another boy looked at him as he walked past him.

Holly Holliday walked through the hallways after, smiling as she had a bag in her hand, and wore proper school teacher uniforms. That time, a tall, short blonde-haired Adidas sweatsuit wearing cheerleading coach, of course, Sue Sylvester, walked to her, befuddled by Holly's entrance.

"Well, well, look who it is," Sue stopped, crossing her arms, blocking the path for Holly. "I never knew Legally Blonde was making another movie, if it isn't Reese Witherspoon."

Holly chuckled, "Hey, Sue, nice to see you too."

"What are you doing here, Holly?" Sue said. "Mr. Curly Top is gone away with little miss Perfect Emerald."

"Will and Emma?" Holly said, she began to chuckle. "Oh, I'm not here for them. I'm here for a teaching gig."

"You? A teaching gig?" Sue said. "God, I forgot you existed here."

"Well, I'm back." Holly said. "So, how's everything with New Directions now?"

"Holiday, New Directions is done, over, dead, no one hardly even remembers what those putrid full of crapheads did in that club."

"So you mean, ever since Will left, New Directions ended?" Holly said.

"Yes, Miss Congenality, I'm saying it's over, and if you're thinking about trying to bring the club back, don't even try, no one wants to join a parody group of High School Musical kids who sing whenever a problem happens. Take Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson for instance." Sue winked at Holly and walked away, while Holly's concerned expression was still on her face.

"Ms. Holiday, I'm sorry, but it's been over 2 years now since Glee Club has been disbanded." Principal Figgins said. "It's been completely forgotten ever since William left, even Finn Hudson couldn't handle being a director ever since everyone left."

"Figgins, I truly understand that but I believe that there are still kids here that want to express themselves, to feel less like underdogs."

"Technically, that's how they have all been feeling when New Directions was still active: underdogs," Principal Figgins said. "There are a myriad of reasons why reviving Glee Club is just completely pointless."

"Oh yeah? Name one." Holly crossed her arms in disappointment. Principal Figgins replied, "They lost Sectionals on the fourth year."

"But didn't they get to Regionals and Nationals after finding evidence of Dalton Academy Warblers cheating?"

"Yeah, I guess you're right about that." Figgins said.

"Listen, Figgs, when I first came to this school as a substitute for New Directions, I believed in those kids, I supported those kids, those students loved me. Now, I'm a teacher here, taking Schuester's place. And I keep my word that there are still many others here that deserve to have a chance to shine, can you just give them that chance?"

Principal Figgins sighed, took a deep breath and replied, "Fine, here's what I'll do. I'll allow you to give auditions for Glee Club, but if you do not get as enough students to join by the time winter comes, I will result that into a permanent disband, okay?"

"Yes, yes, you're awesome!" Holly gave a cheer, and smiled.

Figgins blushed at the moment, "Well, I'm not that awesome, but thanks."

The Cheerios were practicing their new routines outside of the football field, full of jumping and dancing around the field overwhelmed Sue Sylvester, but also angered her. The heat outside caused sweat to fall all around. As the Cheerios stopped their routine practice, Sue grabbed her megaphone and yelled out:

"That was horrible, disgusting, freaking gross, you girls gotta try harder, damn it! I don't get paid enough to coach you all!" Sue yelled out.

Some of the Cheerios rolled their eyes and nodded, while a familiar face passed through the field, and Sue turned around and spotted Mr. Schuester as she stood at the bleachers. "Oh, god, no."

"What's up, Sue?!" Mr. Schuester said from afar as he continued to walk to the bleachers. Sue walked to him, sighing.

"Gosh, buttchin, I was just hoping for the chance to not see you for the rest of my entire life, but sadly, I guess that won't happen."

"Well, I decided to come visit to see how things were working out with Glee Club," Mr. Schuester said with a smile. Sue raised an eyebrow, "What Glee Club?"

"New Directions, what other Glee Club in McKinley would it be?" Mr. Schuester chuckled.

"Oh, you mean the Glee Club that disbanded after you left 2 years ago?" Sue said. "Ah, it's in its grave, that's for sure."

"Disbanded?" Mr. Schuester said with a concerned look on his face. "What do you mean by disbanded? The Glee Club ended after I left?"

"Yep." Sue said. "It's dead and gone now, little miss Holly Jolly wants it back, but it's impossible."

"Holly Holliday is back?" Mr. Schuester said, "Where is she?"

"I don't know, she's in her own dream world somewhere in her office," Sue shrugged. Mr. Schuester walked away, waving at Sue.

Sue suddenly waved back, and then rolled her eyes, grabbed her megaphone and yelled, "All right, skinny pencils get your asses back in position!"

When Holly sat in her office going through classwork papers from her History class students, a voice made its entrance. "I believe we've met before."

Holly looked up, then smiled with shock, "Oh my god, Will! It's you!" Holly jumped up for a hug and Mr. Schuester smiled, "It's been so long."

"Well, what happened to your gig teaching French in Cleveland?" Mr. Schuester said. Holly scoffed, "Ah, I turned it down after a while, instead of 4 months, I only did 2, hardly any of the classes I had wanted to do French. And remember that Cameo kid I told you about? She came back and she jumped me, along with her "hood hop" group."

"Hood hop?" Mr. Schuester raised his eyebrow.

A flashback occurs: Holly walked inside of the classroom full of paper throwing, laughing and screaming, and as Holly stood in front, all she saw was Cameo, with her thick body sitting on the table, her evil looks, her glasses, her hair wrapped up in a bun, and her fists balled up.

"Oh no." Holly said to herself.

"Oh hell, no, you again? Why are you here?" Cameo crossed her arms.

Just ignore her, Holly, just let it go, she said to herself.

"Good morning class, I am your new teacher for French. Now before we start, does anyone know how to speak French, just raise your hand."

It was silent, no one raised their hands, and Cameo raised her eyebrows.

"Bitch, do you think we know how to talk that "voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir"?"

"Good, you spoke French! Good example." Holly smiled, trying to ignore Cameo's smart remark.

"Are you judging the way I speak?" Cameo said.

"No, no, no, I'm not judging the way--" Holly said.

"Yes, you are!" Cameo yelled. "And just for that, it's time for you to get what you got the last time you came in my classroom. A big helping of kick-that-ass!"

Cameo slammed down the desk, and every classmate jumped in fear, as Holly screamed, and Cameo punched her down.

Holly squinted her eyes and nodded. "And instead of taking my Air Jordans, they stole my money out of my wallet when I was on the floor. It was horrible."

"Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that." Mr. Schuester said.

"So, how's you and Emma? I heard you guys tied the knot!" Holly said.

"Yep, we did. It's amazing that I can have the chance to experience marriage with her, you know."

"I'm proud of you." Holly smiled.

"I heard New Directions was disbanded when I left." Mr. Schuester looked down. Holly smiled, "Not anymore, I'm bringing it back."

Mr. Schuester looked in shock, "Really? God that's amazing! They are gonna love you!"

"I hope so," Holly said. "If only Cameo doesn't audition, maybe they will." Holly and Mr. Schuester both laughed. "I was wondering, since you've been New Directions' director for so long, how about helping a girl out with auditions?"

Mr. Schuester smiled, "Of course, New Directions is my life." Holly gave Mr. Schuester a hug, and he smiled.

In the hallways, the bulletin boards were put up, and the sign up sheet for New Directions was hooked on the corkboard. As the boy walked by, who wore the ripped jeans and jacket, he and the rest of his friends looked.

"Pfft, sign up for Glee Club?" The boy said. "Glee Club's so lame, dude."

"Definitely," another jock said. "Who would want to join that?"

"Maybe I will." The boy said, grabbing the pen, and jokingly drew a picture of a penis all on the paper. He and the jocks laughed and walked away from the bulletin board. After that, a girl suddenly walked to the board, looking at the sheet and trying to avoid the drawing, and decided to write her name.

If you hadn't noticed, the jocks are pure assholes at McKinley High, especially that Viper guy, everytime he has something mean to say or does something mean anyway. That doesn't make you cool at all, like no.

The name's Hailey McConnell, and I'm the type of girl that takes no shit. I mean, crap, excuse my language, I never knew this voice over had to censore bad words. Anyway, I never get in trouble, but whenever someone has the audacity to do something wrong to me, I have the right to call them out for it.

Growing up, my mother died when I was four, pretty much. I never really knew my place here when I joined McKinley High, but now I feel like I can now, and joining Glee Club, eh, people say it's crap, but I disagree. If only people can understand what Glee is all about, maybe they wouldn't judge so negatively.

Hailey walked away from the paper as she signed it, and following her, a boy looked around and looked at the corkboard, and he wrote his name.

I'm Aiden Andrews. Yeah, I'm a jock, so what? Don't judge me. Not all jocks have to stick to football, you know? Even though I play football, I've been into musical theatre and singing, anything you give me, I can take.

I get that this may ruin my reputation, but from what I heard, Glee helps you express yourself, and I think that's what I need to work on. So, the jocks can knock me out if they want to, I'm joining Glee Club. Aiden smiled as he walked away, trying to prevent any cheerleader or jock from looking at him.

"God, I'm so tired," a cheerleader said as she, a cheerleader named Samantha, and a cheerleader named Kaleesha walked inside of the school.

"Coach Sylvester had us working our asses off, I think she hates me," Kaleesha said, crossing her arms. Samantha rolled her eyes.

"Coach Sylvester hates everyone, I believe she hates herself too." Samantha said. "Maybe she's jealous because all of the cheerleaders are prettier than her."

"So true, she can sit her Ellen DeGeneres ass down and have a baby," Kaleesha said. "I think she's already had one." Kendall said. Kaleesha and Samantha looked at each other and looked back at Kendall. "With who's vagina?"

Kendall shrugged, "Don't ask me, ask the gossipers in the halls."

"So, Sam, how's your relationship with Matt?" Kaleesha said as she stood at her locker in the room, drinking a sip of her bottled water. Samantha looked back, and nodded, "I guess we're okay."

"You know it's kind of weird, because everytime me or Kendall mentions Matt, you get so sad for some reason, is everything okay?" Kaleesha said. Samantha looked back again, "Yeah, I'm fine, Kalee,"

"Okay," Kaleesha shrugged. "Suit yourself, let's go to class now." The bell rang at that moment and as both Kendall and Kaleesha left out, all of a sudden, Kai walked in, making Samantha jump.

Samantha sighed, "Damn it, Matt. What are you doing here, you know the boys aren't supposed to be in the girls' locker room."

"I'm sorry, I just can't take the silent treatment anymore, why are you ignoring me so much?" Matt said. "It's been four days since we've talked, and now it's like you're avoiding me for some reason."

"And you should know why I'm ignoring you." Samantha said. Matt nodded, "Actually, I don't know at all."

"Don't think that I haven't seen you talk to those skunk whores daily," Samantha said. "And on top of that flirting with my best friends Kaleesha and Kendall." "Come on, Sam, that's part of my reputation, name one hot dude like me that date a girl and flirts with them all day."

"Viper." Samantha crossed her arms. "He's a man-whore, Matt, do you seriously want to end up like him? No. You're not even a jock, you should be lucky that I'm showing the likes of you."

Samantha sighed, "You may be hot, but popular? You are not. You are only popular because of me, I should be embarrassed by dating you right now."

Matt looked down, "That seriously hurt my feelings,"

"Well, yeah, it's the real world, deal with it." Sam said, "Excuse me," Samantha walked away from Matt, who sighed and walked a different direction as her.

A boy walked in the hallways, looking dark and eerie as we wore a black jacket, with jeans and black shoes. A mustache was growing somewhat on his face, but as older as he looks, he's only fifteen. His hair lifted up and as he stopped to his locker. As he opened it, it was slammed again, along with his head as the jocks began to laugh and walk away. His binders fell all on the floor and he sighed. Until the jock with the ripped jeans and skull and bones shirt came to him.

"Are you all right?" The boy said.

The other guy replied and scoffed, "Shouldn't you be pushing me at my own locker too?"

"Is that what you want me to do instead of helping?" The guy said.

"No, I'm just saying, you're a jock, and I'm a loser, what jock helps a loser out." "The one that could put my fist to your face for the ungratefulness he's given." The jock said.

"Okay, okay, take it easy, then." The guy said.

"I'm just messing with you." The jock chuckled, as he picked up his binders and gave it to him, until the jock stopped to take one glimpse at the other guy, all of the darkness feeling in the boy's face somehow disappeared, and all he could see was his eyes, and his soft looking skin, his lips, as he replied, "Thanks."

The jock continued to look at the other, and gave a half-smile, "Don't mention it. I'm Viper, by the way."

"Deno." The other boy replied, "Deno Darko."

There was total silence as they both looked at each other again, but Viper walked away, "Once again, don't mention it." He smiled and walked away, struggling to end the sudden feelings that were going through his head.

Deno sighed and nodded, "That was weird." He closed his locker and walked away, and Viper suddenly turned around, trying to get another look at him, but he vanished, and looked back to the front of his direction.

At the cafeteria, Kaleesha, Samantha, and Kendall all sat with the Cheerios at their seat, as one girl passed by, they looked back at her and nodded her head. Kaleesha looked at Samantha, who played with her food.

"Girl, what's wrong?" Kaleesha said. Samantha sighed, "I think I want to break up with Matt, he's turning out to be a man-whore."

"Well, if you want to break up with him, it is your decision." Kendall said.

Samantha looked up to them, "How can Matt be a man-whore and he's not even that popular, he flirts with other girls, and he flirts with you two, he should be doing all of that with me."

Kaleesha sighed, and looked at Kendall. "I think it's the perfect time to do this now, Kendall." She grabbed her phone, and searched for a song, and Kaleesha stood up, as the song played.

"Kalee, what are you doing?" Samantha said with her face leaning on her fist, looking in confusion.

"Yo, remember back on the boogie when cats use to harmonize like..." Kaleesha said, as Kendall and the Cheerios all harmonized, "Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoooo."

"Yo, my men and my women,don't forget about the dean, Sirat al-Mustaqim, it's about a thing, uh." Kaleesha said. "If ya feel real good wave your hands in the air and 'lick' two shots in the atmosphere..."

Kaleesha jumped and danced around the cafeteria as everyone looked at her and the rest of the Cheerios, clapping, and waving their hands in the air. Samantha put her face in her hands trying not to laugh.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah," Kendall and the Cheerios sang. Kaleesha ran to Samantha.

"Listen, girl," Kaleesha said.

"It's been three weeks since you've been looking for your friend, the one you let hit it and never called you again, remember when he told you he was 'bout the Benjamins, you act like you ain't hear him then gave him a little trim."

"To begin, how you think you really gon' pretend, like you wasn't down then you called him again, plus when you give it up so easy you ain't even fooling him, if you did it then, then you'd probably bump again."

Samantha nodded as she watched Kaleesha rapping in her face, as Kendall and the Cheerios danced in the background.

"Talking out your neck sayin' you're a Christian, a Muslim sleeping with the gin now that was the sin that did Jezebel in, who you gon' tell when the repercussions spin?" Kaleesha rapped. "Showing off your ass 'cause you're thinking it's a trend, girlfriend, let me break it down for you again. You know I only say it 'cause I'm truly genuine, don't be a hardrock when you're really a gem."

Kaleesha put her hand on Samantha's cheek, and she smiled.

"Babygirl, respect is just a minimum, boys messed up and you still defending them, now Kaleesha is only human, don't think I haven't been through the same predicament, let it sit inside your head like a million women in Philly, Penn. It's silly when girls sell their soul because it's in, look at where you be in hair weaves like Europeans, fake nails done by Koreans, come again."

Kendall and the Cheerios sang, "Come again, come again, come again, come again," and Kendall walked through the whole cafeteria, singing to the boys and the jocks.

"Guys you know you better watch out, some girls, some girls are only about that thing, that thing, that thing," Kendall sang.

At that point, the ruckus that was going on in the cafeteria was spotted by Principal Figgins, who suddenly stopped to hear the song, as well as Holly Holiday and Mr. Schuester.

At that point, Kendall, Kaleesha, and the Cheerios sang in acapella, "Watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out." Kendall and Kaleesha stood back by back as Kendall sang, "Guys you know you better watch out, some girls, some girls are only about that thing, that thing, that thing,"

Samantha began to smile and laugh at their performance, and the crowd in the cafeteria were intrigued. As the song ended, everyone cheered, and Holly Holiday had a smirk on her face, "Jackpot."

"No, no way, Jose, no!" Sue yelled out in her office as Holly and Mr. Schuester both sat across from her desk.

Mr. Schuester sighed, "Oh, come on, you never had a problem when Brittany, Santana, Quinn, and of course, Kitty Wilde joined New Directions, why is it a problem now?"

"For one, you aren't the director anymore, she is, am I right?" Sue said. "Secondly, I don't want my two Cheerios to join anything involving a misfit group of kids with different insecurities. My girls are perfect this year, don't ruin it."

"Gosh, Sue, can you not just think about yourself for once, we're just really interested in those two girls auditioning for New Directions, is it that too hard to ask?"

"Yeah, especially when it comes to me, but eh, you're right, why don't you just ask them theirselves and see what they say."

Holly Holiday and Will smiled at each other and looked back at Sue.

"Are you kidding me? Glee Club?" Kendall said in the hallways with Kaleesha, Mr. Schuester, and Holly. "That's worse than what goes on in High School Musical or whatever you guys do."

"Oh, guys, this could be a great opportunity for you two. Just picture you guys on center stage rocking the house down in Glee Club." Mr. Schuester said.

"Translate that and you'll end up with swaying in the background singing the theme song to Sesame Street." Kaleesha said, laughing with Kendall.

"At least take this to think about, guys, you guys could end up being stars and follow your dreams." Holly said.

"Good convincing, but I'd rather follow my rapping style on my own to be the next Nicki Minaj of the century. Nicki, Eve, Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott or Lauryn Hill didn't have to join no damn Glee Club just to pursue their dreams." Kaleesha said, crossing their arms.

"So, all of that Twinkle Town crap you two are convincing us to join, you can just save it." Kendall said as she and Kaleesha both walked away from Holly and Will.

"Girl, you know, this may be an opportunity for us, for real, I should have never said that at all," Kaleesha said to Kendall.

"Recall: do you seriously want to be in a group singing nothing but Broadway? Hip-Hop and Pop is our style, Lele, let's not trash those dreams down by just joining some club that's oh-so accepting. We are cheerleaders. Think about what we'll end up like if we join some club like this." Kendall said.

"I don't know, I just have this feeling. Growing up as a child was really hard and all I wanted to do was be a star. Maybe Glee is willing to accept us and get us closer to our dreams." Kaleesha said.

"Well, I'm not joining and neither will you." Kendall shrugged.

Kaleesha rolled her eyes and sighed.

"I apologize, Ms. Duffy, but your clothing is very inappropriate for school matters, I will have to send you home to change." Principal Figgins said.

"Principal Figgins, this is who I am, this is how I dress. Changing my clothes to something out of my zone is like changing my personality." The girl said, crossing her arms. "It's not fair. If you call this inappropriate, talk about the Cheerios uniforms the girls wear that shows their panties."

"Ms. Duffy, this is the fourth time we have warned you about wearing inappropriate wear in school, this is your last strike, if you break this rule, then I will have to result this issue into an expulsion."

"You have got to be kidding me." The girl rolled her eyes. "Fine, I will go home," The girl walked out and left the school buildings.

Yeah, I know I look a slutty mess, I get that. But that's part of who I am, and changing that is nothing. I'm not so good about telling people my name, so I guess you can just call me Duffy. I'm not so good about how I look I can say that, but I know I'm proud of what I wear. It's me, and no one can change that but me. Figgins can say whatever he wants, but I could give two craps about it.

I was originally born in Arizona, but a lot of issues that happened in my life, which I will not recall right now, caused me to move here. I just can't take feeling like I have no place here.

She put up her middle finger as she left out the school building.

"I just might as well face it, New Directions will never get its magic back now that I'm reviving it." Holly said as she sat in her office. "Only 2 people joined with a sheet that had a penis on it."

"It's okay, I'm sure New Directions will get back on track just as soon as possible, we just need to keep on looking." Mr. Schuester said. Holly looked at Mr. Schuester, "How about we check the football team?"

"Yeah, right, like any person will join from the football team, if you were there to see what I had to go through years ago." Mr. Schuester said.

"I mean, it won't hurt to try," Holly smiled.

Holly and Mr. Schuester stood in front of the football locker room as Coach Beiste smiled, chuckling. "So, guys, our very own Mr. Schuester and Ms. Holiday would like to have a word with you guys when it comes to Glee Club."

"Glee Club?" Viper shook his head. "That's so lame, count me out."

"Viper, you're gonna listen to what these two have to say or else you will have to run 20 laps next practice."

Viper sighed and crossed his arms, "God, stop torturing me."

"So, me and Ms. Holiday here are willing to allow you guys to join the revived New Directions. I mean, I'm sure some of you can sing, am I right?" Mr. Schuester said.

"Yeah, I can sing," Viper said. "But I'd rather singing without wearing tutus," The football team all laughed and a jock replied, "Good one man."

"Well, fine, but take this in consideration, if you guys want to join, the sign up sheet is always by the door." Holly said. She smiled as she and Will walked out of the room together.

"I knew that was going to happen." Mr. Schuester nodded as they left out the locker room.

"All right, guys, that's it for today, go hit the showers," Coach Beiste said. "Also, Viper, that's 20 laps for you tomorrow."

Viper rolled his eyes and grabbed his towel and left to go to the showers. as he walked inside, somehow alone, he undressed, and turned the shower on, washing himself all around, at the time, he was bored, and he began to sing softly at first.

"I dance around this empty house, tear us down, throw you out," Viper sang. "Screaming down the halls, spinning all around and now we fall."

He started to get more louder, "Pictures framing up the past, your taunting smirk behind the glass. This museum full of ash, once a tickle, now a rash."

All of a sudden, Mr. Schuester and Holly overheard the singing inside of the locker room from afar since they were close to the door. He smiled, as he slowly walked in with Holly, walking slowly to the showers, but stopping.

"This used to be a funhouse, but now it's full of evil clowns, it's time to start the countdown. I'm gonna burn it down down down, I'm gonna burn it down. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."

Mr. Schuester and Holly spotted Viper, and they were shocked.

At that moment, I realized that there are many voices here in this school that are too afraid to shine out in Glee Club. And that's when there was Viper, a small thin, and muscular boy with a voice out of this world. To act much like an immature guy, he has a very exceptional voice. If he just joined Glee Club, it could be a lot more, Holly narrated.

"I'm not going to just join your club like that, person I don't know," Viper said to Mr. Schuester and Holly. "Do you know how embarrassing it would be for a jock to just join a club like that and sing and do ballet."

"That's definitely not what happens in Glee Club, Viper," Mr. Scuester said. "Joining will give you a chance to shine. Have you ever wanted a chance to show off?"

"Yeah, but in football, I can, not in some lame club." Viper said crossing his arms.

"You know, to be a teen, you do have much of an attitude." Holly said. "We heard you sing."

Viper raised his eyebrows, "What the heck, you guys were in the locker room watching me sing? You guys need help!"

"No, no, no, wait," Mr. Schuester squinted his eyes, "Don't take it that way, it's just we heard it from afar and we came in to see who was singing, and when we realized that it was you, we just--"

"Thought that just because I have a big voice, I should join Glee Club. Not happening. I don't sing around my friends, and I'm sure as hell not gonna sing around them in some club, I'm a football player, guys."

"Well, you know, your friends can always know about you singing, we do have you on tape." Holly said with a smirk.

"What?" Viper said in concern. Mr. Schuester looked at Holly and whispered, "No we don't."

Holly nudged Mr. Schuester and then winked. "Yeah, we do, so if you are so afraid to shine, I guess this tape will go to your friends."

"Oh my god, please don't do that, I'll join, I'll do anything but you cannot give that to my friends, they'd kill me." Viper cried, worrying.

"You see, if they had done that, they aren't really your friends then." Viper said. "They're just a bunch of bullies," Mr. Schuester said. "We'll see you tomorrow afternoon at auditions, it'll be held in the auditorium."

Viper stood in the classroom nodding his head, sighing. I can't believe they got me on tape singing Pink. If they give that to my friends, that'll be the end of my reputation is the star quarterback. I just can't deal with the fact that I'm pressured to join some Jackson 5 crap, like Sweet Brown says, ain't nobody got time for that. Anyway, I guess I have to join. Viper, get ready for the end of your life.

A boy walked to the bulletin board with a smile on his face, it seemed as if he was going to follow his dreams just that quick as he grabbed his own pen and wrote his name perfectly in cursive writing, and a star on the right.

Cole, you are officially going to be a star soon, I just know it. You're gonna be the shining star. People may think I'm some kind of overachiever... well, I mean I am. But eh, I'm a good guy, and I have my dreams to keep. Don't judge me. Yeah, I may think I'm better than anyone else in the school, but I'm the most elite person that can handle things well. I'm a star, enough said, and joining Glee Club will give me a chance to reach my dreams, I got the looks, the talent, the cockiness, eh, I'm awesome. Face it, you guys want to be me.

As a kid, I pretty much got whatever I wanted WHEN I wanted it, well, I did have to work hard for it, but still I got it. I usually spend my time taking voice lessons, dance lessons and even acting lessons which I really did good in. In a few more years, Cole Eli Reynolds will be the dude that you see in the bright lights. Whether I'm the main person on your picture of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, or I'm in a production of Les Miserables, just like that Rachel Berry girl people talk about, I'm the next star.

Cole smiled as he walked away from the board, and Mr. Schuester and Holly both spotted him, looked at each other and gave one a knuckle touch.

"It seems we have a couple more joining, how awesome is that?" Holly smiled. Viper walked out of the locker room after, and then he accidentally bumped into Deno again.

"Oh god, I'm sorry," Viper said sympathetically, Deno brushed himself off, "It's alright, I'll live, I guess."

"Deno, right?" Viper smiled.

"Yes." Deno said. "Anything you need?"

"Ah, no, maybe a person to talk to." Viper chuckled.

"Are you sure, you are a jock, I'm a loser, I don't want to interfere with anything you have with the jocks." Deno said.

"Please, dude, I own the jocks, they respect me, what I say goes." Viper looked away in guilt after saying that and then smiled.

"Well, what do you want to talk about?" Deno said.

"Are you joining Glee Club?" Viper said.

"Yeah, I was until you bumped into me," Deno chuckled. "Are you?"

"I'm forced to, pretty much. But I'll live I guess." Viper said.

"I don't know if I want to join though, I'm too scared to sing in front of people, I'm more of a myself type of person, that's why I hardly talk to people."

"I'm sure you're great, Deno, I just guess you have to be brave and be yourself, you know, that's what I try to be."

"A mean bully?" Deno said.

"Exactly," Viper said, laughing with Deno. "Well, see you at auditions."

"Yeah, sure, I guess." Deno's smile went to a frown as he walked up to the bulletin board feeling skittish.

Like I said before, I'm really not an open person. You see, I have autism, and I just rather do things independently on my own and I'm always shy to do things in front of people. But the fact that the bully, Viper, decided to give me some advice, I think it's kind of sweet, and I honestly think he's kind of hot. I don't want him to know that but eh.

Deno slowly wrote his name on the sign up sheet and walked away, and Viper looked back at Deno passing by.

If there's something I should admit, it should be the fact that I'm really feeling that Deno guy. I don't know why I have these feelings, I'm a jock. But ever since I laid eyes on him, I've just been feeling some way.

Samantha stood at her locker looking for her things, and as she did, her cellphone began to vibrate. As she looked, she recieved a text message from Matt. She rolled her eyes and ignored it. Cole suddenly walked by.

"Need any help there, miss?" Cole said.

Samantha looked slowly up and down at Cole, his face and his lips somehow shot attraction, she began to smile, "Yeah, sure."

Cole helped Samantha with her things in her locker and gave her binders to her. "Thank you, you're a gentleman."

"Ha, people say that, mainly others say I'm a jerk." Cole shrugged.

"You're not a man-whore are you?" Samantha said. Cole nodded, "No, no, not at all, no girl likes me anyway, they think I'm too--"

"Gay?" Samantha shrugged.

"Yeah, how did you know?" Cole raised an eyebrow.

"It's kind of obvious." Samantha laughed. "I mean, look at what you're wearing."

"I know, I get that a lot, but trust me, I'm 100% straight." Cole smiled at Samantha, who smiled back. "And your name is?"

"I'm Cole."

"Samantha." They both shook hands.

The next afternoon, Viper and Hailey sat down in the auditorium first audition, but a rude Viper sat down scooting all the way over to Hailey, making her uncomfortable, she looked at Viper, raising an eyebrow.

"What the hell are you doing?" Hailey said.

"I'm making my space, do you mind?" Viper crossed his arms and put his feet on another chair across from him.

"I do mind." Hailey stood up and sat far apart from him. "Jerk."

After that, Deno, Aidan, and Cole walked in, and Viper looked back and gave a smile and a wave. Deno waved back at him.

Mr. Schuester and Holly sat in the front, "All right guys, who's ready for audition time!"

Everyone in the room clapped, except for Viper. Mr. Schuester smiled as he called the first person up, "Um, Deno Darko?"

Deno felt pressure in his body as he walked up to the stage to prepare for his audition. He sighed and took a deep breath, felt nervous and scared at the time. As he went up to the stage, he grabbed the microphone and looked around. It was total silence.

"What are you going to sing for us, sweetheart?" Holly said.

Deno was still silent, until he locked his eyes on Viper, who gave him a wink, Deno gave a half-smile. "I will be singing Cough Syrup."

"Good choice." Mr. Schuester said.

Deno took a deep breath as the music began to play, and Deno looked at Viper once more and sang, "Life's too short to even care at all oh, I'm losing my mind losing my mind losing control. These fishes in the sea they're staring at me oh oh oh oh oh oh. A wet world aches for a beat of a drum. Oh."

"If I could find a way to see this straight, I'd run away to some fortune that I should have found by now." Deno sang.

Viper smiled as he sang, along with Mr. Schuester and Holly. Deno smiled back at Viper.

"Life's too short to even care at all oh, I'm coming up now coming up now out of the blue, these zombies in the park they're looking for my heart, Oh oh oh oh, a dark world aches for a splash of the sun oh oh." Deno sang.

"If I could find a way to see this straight, I'd run away To some fortune that I should have found by now," Deno sang. "And so I run now to the things they said could restore me, restore life the way it should be, I'm waiting for this cough syrup to come down."

"Life's too short to even care at all oh, I'm losing my mind losing my mind losing control." Deno looks at Viper again and he smiles back, giving a thumbs up.

"If I could find a way to see this straight, I'd run away to some fortune that I should have found by now." Deno sang. "So I run now to the things they said could restore me, restore life the way it should be, I'm waiting for this cough syrup to come down."

"One more spoon of cough syrup now, one more spoon of cough syrup now." The song ended and a standing ovation was given. Viper cheered for Deno, and smiled. Deno felt proud of letting go of his fear of singing in front of others. He took a bow and left the stage.

"Next, Aidan Andrews." Holly smiled as she read the name. Aidan smiled as applaused approached when he walked to the stage. He looked a bit happy at the time, he said, "Hello, my name is Aidan Andrews and I'll be singing Locked Out of Heaven."

"Awesome!" Mr. Schuester said.

The drums and guitar began to play and Aiden grabbed his microphone, singing, "Oh yeah, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."

"Never had much faith in love or miracles, never wanna put my heart on the line." Aidan sang. "But swimming in your world is something spiritual, I'm born again every time you spend the night."

"'Cause your sex takes me to paradise, yeah, your sex takes me to paradise, and it shows, yeah, yeah, yeah."

"'Cause you make me feel like, I've been locked out of heaven for too long, for too long." Aidan sang. "Yeah, you make me feel like, I've been locked out of heaven, for too long, for too long."

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, can I just stay here, spend the rest of my days here." Aidan sang. "Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, can't I just stay here, spend the rest of my days here."

Everyone began dancing along to the song, and Viper seemed to be interested.

"Oh yeah, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."

Everyone cheered, and Aidan smiled, and walked off the stage.

"Dude, you were awesome out there," Viper said, smiling at Deno, as Hailey began to prepare for her audition. Deno smiled back, "If it wasn't for you, I probably wouldn't have auditioned, you're pretty cool."

"You're pretty cool yourself." Viper winked. The feelings began to take control of Deno as that wink made him feel different.

"Hi, I'm Hailey McConnell and I'll be singing Hurricane Streets." Hailey said, smiling.

Hailey grabbed her guitar and began playing the tune of the song, and she began to sing, "The storm is rushing on me, here's the blinded flash, I feel so locked and loaded, let me out, let me out."

"I wake up in a wasteland, where the trees are crashing fast, make or break or the road explodes, get out, get out of this town."

Viper began nodding his head to the song, as Hailey continued to sing, "Live faster, love stronger, let us speed up or get blown over. Time's wasting, how much longer before I get myself free on these hurricane streets."

"Leaves are blowing down the streets, wind crawling up our knees, somebody get the keys, rain is flowing from the sky, but no fear in our eyes, we're ready to fly."

"Live faster, love stronger, let us speed up or get blown over. Time's wasting, how much longer before I get myself free on these hurricane streets." Hailey repeated the chorus. "Live faster, love stronger, let us speed up or get blown over. Time's wasting, how much longer before I get myself free on these hurricane streets."

Everyone clapped and Hailey smiled as she walked off the stage. Mr. Schuester called the last person up for auditions. "Okay, um, last one, Cole Reynolds."

"Yep, here I am." Cole said, completely confident as he walked up to the stage with a smile on his face. "My name is Cole Eli Reynolds and I will be doing my version of Billy Flynn's "All I Care About" from Chicago."

A big grin on his face lighted up the entire auditorium.

"Show us what you got." Holly said back.

"Hit it, boys!" Cole yelled out.

"I don't care about expensive things, Cashmere coats, or diamond rings, don't mean a thing, all I care about is love, that's what I'm here for." Cole sang. "I don't care for wearin' silk cravats, ruby studs, satin spats, don't mean a thing, all I care about is love."

"Give me two eyes of blue, softly saying, "I need you."

"Let me see her standin' there, and.." Cole put out his hands, emphasizing, "And honest, mister, I'm a millionaire!"

"I don't care for any fine attire, Vanderbilt might admire, no, no, not me, all I care about is love..."

"Show me long Raven hair, flowin' down, about to there." Cole sang.  "Let me see her runnin' free, keep your money, that's enough for me."


"I don't care for drivin' Packard cars or smoking Long Buck Cigars, no no not me, all I care about is.." Cole began to kick up his feet, as Hailey whispered in Deno's ear. 

"I have a feeling that I'm not gonna like him," Hailey said as she looked back at Cole.

"Doin' the guy in, who's pickin, on you twistin' the wrist, that's turnin' the screw." Cole sang. "All I care about is..... love!"

The rest clapped, and Cole took a bow, he grinned, and Mr. Schuester replied, "Very very good."

"So when are rehearsals?" Cole said.

Kaleesha walked to the bulletin board, she sighed as she saw the new members' callback list, she looked at the new empty sign up sheet, and she took a deep breath, grabbed a pen and wrote her name, and looked around, then walked away. Kendall walked behind her and raised an eyebrow, as she looked at the bulletin board and saw her name on the paper.

Kendall nodded her head, "You have got to be kidding me."

"What the hell, Kaleesha, why would you do that?" Kendall yelled out, as Kaleesha walked in the hallway.

"Look, I'm sorry, I just couldn't help but audition. But I had to, Kendall. Besides, I need something to add in my resume for college anyway, so."

"I think you're going completely insane," Kendall said.

"Ah, that's what you think," Kaleesha said. "I'm being smart."

"I definitely appreciate your help finding some of these kids for New Directions, it was definitely a help." Holly smiled.

"Ah, it's not a problem, after 5 years of directing New Directions, I still believe that New Directions has a chance to shine again, they just have to be strong and never give up, that's what I definitely learned from directing Glee Club." Mr. Schuester said.

"That's why New Directions have put up a little performance for you before you leave McKinley." Holly said.

"Really?" Mr. Schuester said as Holly lead him to the auditorium.

New Directions stood in the auditorium, singing the tune to the beginning of Don't Stop Believing. Viper walked in the middle, singing, "Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world, she took the midnight train goin' anywhere."

Mr. Schuester smiled, and felt honored. Hailey sang, "Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit, he took the midnight train goin' anywhere."

"A singer in a smoky room, a smell of wine and cheap perfume," Deno sang.

"For a smile they can share the night, it goes on and on and on and on," Viper joined in with Deno, and sang.

"Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard, their shadows, searching in the night." Aidan sang.

"Streetlight people, livin' just to find emotion, hiding somewhere in the night," Cole sang.

"Workin' hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill," Hailey sang.

"Payin' anything to roll the dice, just one more time," Deno and Viper sang.

"Some will win, some will lose, some were born to sing the blues," Aiden sang.

"And now the movie never ends, it goes on and on and on and on," Hailey and Cole sang.

"Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard, their shadows, searching in the night." Deno sang.

"Streetlight people, livin' just to find emotion, hiding somewhere in the night," Viper sang.

"Don't stop believing, hold on to that feeling, streetlight people," New Directions sang. "Don't stop believing, hold on to that feeling, streetlight people,"

Kaleesha watched as they performed and she gave a smile, and Mr. Schuester felt as if he would cry, flashing back to when New Directions sang the song before. He smiled.

"Don't stop!" The New Directions ended the song on a good note and cheered.
