Episode #10: SixteenEdit

So here's what you missed on Glee: Make It or Break It:

Kendall and Kaleesha both made a return back to McKinley after their major fight, when Kendall tries to make a truce, Kaleesha doesn't agree due to lack of trust. Meanwhile, Jason and Salvatore quit New Directions and likely school to focus on their drug dealing habits, but when they both are caught in the act, they both get arrested. Even Jason gets kicked out of her grandmother's house. Bummer. The feud between Lyndsay and Gretchen continues to occur as Gretchen tries to instigate issues between Hayden and Deno's relationship since she knows about Drake and Hayden's kisses. Kendall gets angered when she sees text messages from Kai's ex-girlfriend, Brianna, and this causes her to confront her, whilst she has her own issues with The McKinley Swagettes - the group aren't heard as much as they should and this infuriates Tiffany, but it all ends up for the good.

That's what you missed on Glee!

A new morning and a new day starts at McKinley High as Kaleesha began to walk in the hallways with a refreshing smile on her face. As she continued to walk by, Cole caught up to her, immediately saying, "Happy birthday!"

Kaleesha giggled, "Cole, why are you wearing a suit and tie, it's not even Prom yet. Please don't tell me that's your birthday present for me."

"I guess you can say this suit is part of it. I have something to show you." Cole said as he walked behind her. "Close your eyes."

Kaleesha giggled and closed her eyes; together, they walked to a classroom and a chair sat in the middle of it, she sat down. Cole quickly ran to the front, and replied. "Okay, open your eyes now."

Kaleesha opened them, and all she could see was Cole standing in the front with the New Directions boys, dressed up in the same suits, and they began to harmonize, as Cole took the center stage. Kaleesha began to blush and shake her head in disbelief.

"Sixteen candles make a lovely light, but not as bright as your eyes tonight, as your eyes tonight, oh, blow out the candles, make your wish come true for I'll be wishing that you love me, too."

"That you love me, too." New Directions boys sang. Hayden walked to the front and sang along, "You're only sixteen, but you're my teenage queen, you're the prettiest, loveliest girl I've ever seen, I've ever seen, oh."

Kaleesha couldn't believe what she was seeing. Matthew began to sing, "Sixteen candles in my heart will glow, for ever and ever for I love you so."

"You're only sixteen, but you're my teenage queen, you're the prettiest, loveliest girl I've ever seen, I've ever seen, oh." Aidan sang to her.

Cole slowly walked to Kaleesha and went down on a bended knee, and sang to her, "Sixteen candles in my heart will glow, for ever and ever for I love you so, for I love you so, for I love you so." Cole took his hands away from his back and gave her a rose. Kaleesha brightly grinned at Cole, jumped up and hugged Cole.

"Thank you so much." Kaleesha said. Cole smiled back, but in his mind, he felt something as they hugged.

Hailey began to prance back and forth in the empty choir room before anyone could come in. She was on the phone interacting with Jason after she finally recieved her text. "So, why haven't you called me or anything for the whole past 2 weeks?"

"I'm sorry that I didn't call you, Hailey, I really am, but what I'm going through you wouldn't understand." Jason said in the freezing cold outside.

"I won't be able to understand at all if you won't tell me what's been going on. Ever since you and Salvatore quit New Directions, all you have been doing is avoiding me, and I've been nothing but lonely."

"I'm sorry, but it's just hard to explain." Jason said.

"Can you just at least come back? At least for me, I thought you loved me enough to do so." Hailey said, continuing to walk back and forth.

"I don't know right now, Hails, I don't think I'm fit enough to be there. I'm nothing but a druggie." Jason said.

"You are saying that because of Cole, no one else even thinks that of you, not even me." Hailey said.

"And you are just saying that just to get me out of this hole I'm already in. No one wants me around because all I do is smoke and intimidate jerks like Cole." Jason said. "I'm not the type of girl you want to be with, Hailey, I'm too dangerous, I ruin everything I touch."

"That's not true, Jason. You are just a girl with many flaws. You're stuck inside this deeper hole that causes you to do things out of anger and hurt. Believe me, I understand." Hailey said. "We deserve each other and you know it."

"Maybe I just needed time for myself, Hailey, I am sorry that I am causing you so much pain. I should go." Jason said, but Hailey quickly replied, yelling and telling her not to, but she suddenly hung up the phone.

Hailey sighed as she sat on a chair. After that, New Directions all began to enter and Aidan sat next to her. "Hey, you okay?"

Hailey sighed and looked at Aidan and nodded, and attempted to smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Perfectly fine."

Aidan smiled back and rubbed her back twice. Holly made an entrance in the room with an energetic attitude. "Good morning, good morning, guys!"

"Now my head hurts." Gretchen said.

"Today is a great day for a special someone here, today is Kaleesha's birthday!" Holly said. Kaleesha began to smile and everyone clapped, and indistinctly replied, "Happy birthday" to her.

"We also have some news, we have two more weeks of Sectionals, guys. This week is the real deal."

"And just what in your mind thinks that we are completely prepared for this?" Gretchen said as she crossed her arms. Deno replied back to her, "I'm sure we have this, the question is are the Swagettes ready for what we have in store?"

"Now that's the spirit!" Holly said as she walked to Deno and gave him a high-five. Deno looked at Gretchen and smiled, she rolled her eyes. Hayden was confused with the way he was interacting with her at first, but he let it go.

"The Swagettes have NOTHING on us this year, not even The Mothers of Minnesota." "Oh no, are you telling me that 40-50 year olds are gonna be competing against us, too?"

"Yes, pretty much." Holly said. "Although, these are senior citizens at the Minnesota Nursing Home."

"You're kidding, right?" Matthew chuckled. "Should they even be singing?" "Don't judge people like that, Matthew." Cole said. "How would you like it if someone said something like that about your ancestors?"

"I have no ancestors." Matthew crossed his arms -- Cole sighed and shook his head. "Have any of you guys spoken to Samantha lately? She hasn't been here for a while." Holly asked.

"Don't worry, Ms. Holliday, I'm present." Samantha entered the choir room with a small smile. Kendall walked up to her and hugged her, "Long time no see."

"I've been around." Samantha said. Matthew and Cole looked at her, it was tense when it came to those two, while Kaleesha decided to save a spot for her, she smiled and Samantha smiled back.

"Thanks, and Happy Birthday." Samantha whispered. Kaleesha smiled, "You knew?" She hugged her and rubbed her back. Cole tried not to look at her, as Holly continued to talk.

"Well, guys, since Tiffany, Jason and Salvatore are gone, this means that we have to prepare for what's next. Starting this week, we must give our all before the big day. Now who are we?!"

"New Directions!" Everyone yelled, except for a disappointed Cole and a quiet Hailey. Holly smiled, "Now, that's music to my ears!"

Everyone began to cheer, but Cole began to doubt being around Samantha, as Hailey continued to feel sad about Jason after her phone call.

Holly and Brooke were both in the hallway later that day, continuing to talk to each other about New Directions.

"I don't know, Brooke, they still don't seem as ready as they should be, all of this arguing, quitting, and fighting as held us back, I doubt we'll make it past the Swagettes."

"Doesn't the Swagettes need a coach in order to be able to participate in Sectionals?" Brooke said.

"I guess so, but supposedly, two girls are the head of the group."

"I feel that maybe your kids aren't that ready-- if they continue to fight and argue, there are just some things that you should try to resolve before it gets disbanded." Brooke said.

"I tried that so many times, I tried being a good person to these guys, I feel that maybe they need some tough love from me."

"True. Just stop being so sweet on them. If you push them a bit harder, they can be determined to win."

"You ought to make more money here, you're a great advice giver, you know that?"

"Thanks, my past life has helped me moved on and get to where I am today, you know?"

"Yeah." Holly smiled, but her expression changed as she began to think of what Sue assumed about her (being a porn star).

"Well, since my mom and dad died, my grandmother and grandfather thought of it being okay for me to have a sweet sixteen tonight. I think it'll be hard celebrating my birthday today without my parents." Kaleesha said as she walked with Samantha in the hallways.

"I hope you have fun, then." Samantha smiled softly and looked away to the others walking past her. Kaleesha shook her head, "You're coming."

"Me? No, I can't, I'm not the life of the party." Samantha said. "Besides, I think I won't be wanted there."

"If Cole is around? I know it's hard for you to be around him, but you're my friend, I need your company." Kaleesha giggled. Samantha shook her head.

"I don't know, I feel out of place now, I don't even feel like a cheerleader anymore, I feel like a whore, and even Cole said it was so. He hates me, if I even be around him, he'd look at me in anger."

"I don't think he hates you, you just didn't tell him the truth, maybe he has trust issues-- he probably still has a heart for you deep inside." Kaleesha said.

"He wouldn't even let me explain my issues, instead he just pushed me away from him without any hesitation."

"Just give him some time, I'm sure he'll understand." Kaleesha said. "But please, I beg of you, my party will be nothing without you." Kaleesha gave a pouting face and Samantha couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay, I'll go." Samantha said. Kaleesha jumped up to Samantha and hugged her, but Samantha looked down as if she made a bad idea.

Coach Beiste loudly blew her whistle as the football team began to practice, Hayden began to start up his practice as they were lined up at the football field. Coach Bieste walked back and forth to them, making a lecture before their practice.

"All right, Titans, you guys need to man up and quit being little girls before the big game next week, or else... we're gonna feel like losers. We're gonna BE losers. This is our chance, all, I haven't worked here for six years for nothing! Now we're gonna get our heads in the game or else, got it?" Beiste said.

The Titans all yelled, "Yes!"

"All right, now we're gonna do some one on one practice, you all know the routines - Christopher, you'll be paired with Aidan, Rockwell, you'll be paired with Daniels. Shingleton, you'll be paired with Russo."

As Coach Beiste continued to pair the rest of the team up, Hayden quickly looked up, completely shocked. He couldn't believe that he was going to be paired up with the person that he despises. Hayden slowly turned around to look at Drake, who looked back at him with a smirk. He quickly turned around to avoid any eye contact.

"Now, as I said, you guys all know the routines we've learned so far this year, now go out there and practice, what are you waiting for?!" Coach Beiste said as she blew her whistle.

Hayden was prancing back and forth, thinking of what to do, but deep inside he was completely disappointed in Coach Beiste. All of a sudden, a hand patted Hayden's shoulder, "Come on, Hay--"

Drake was behind him until Hayden pushed himself forward and put his hand as his guard. "Don't.. touch.. me. Let's just do this and not speak at all."

"Whatever you say, Russo." Drake said sarcastically, and Hayden walked away from him and replied, "Don't call me by my last name either."

"No problem, boss." Drake continued with his sarcastic remarks and the two both got into their positions.

As Hayden went across from Drake, he tried with all of his might to not look anywhere but at Drake's legs in order to prevent himself from causing any attraction or drama. Hayden felt his heart beating rapidly, as if there were butterflies surrounding the inside of his body. When Hayden put on his helmet, Drake did the same, continuing to look at him as Hayden continued to do the opposite.

Hayden started to feel an adrenaline rush at that moment. As Coach Bieste began to countdown for their first routine - tackling - Hayden's veins were visible from the outside of his arm skin. When Drake had the football in his hand, Coach Beiste yelled "Go!"

Drake began to run with the football in his hand, but at that moment, Hayden couldn't control himself, he ran with all of his remaining energy, quickly starting to sweat, he grunted out of anger as he aggressively and painfully jostled his way to Drake, causing him to fall down to the field, groaning in pain. "My leg!"

Coach Beiste blew the whistle. "Time OUT!" She walked to Drake and Hayden, who couldn't believe what he did. "I'm-- I'm sorry." was all he could say.

"What the hell has gotten to you, Russo?" Beiste yelled in anger, she began to help Drake up, who was still already in pain, she and other football members helped him walk and head to the nurse's office.

Hayden stood there watching him and he was completely speechless, thinking, What the hell did I just do? What has come over me?

"Damn.. you just pushed him that hard?" Lyndsay said, as she and Hayden sat next to each other in the cafeteria that next day. Hayden was still confused with what came over him as he tried playing with his food with his condiments.

"I just.. I think it was a reflex." Hayden shook his head, he sighed. "I don't know what came over me, I don't want to regret it, but at the same time, I do."

"I mean, I know that you've been definitely one of his main targets, but maybe he deserved it, why would you regret it?"

Hayden looked at Lyndsay, and took a deep breath. "If I tell you this, will you promise to not say anything to anyone? Only that Gretchen chick and Deno know about this."

"I'm your friend, you know you can always count on me for anything." Lyndsay said. "What is it?"

"Drake has been bullying me for the past couple of weeks, but.. the thing you don't know is.. I think he's into me." Hayden said. Lyndsay looked at him, and began to laugh loudly for the whole students could hear her in the cafeteria. Hayden covered her mouth.

"Shhh!" Hayden said. Lyndsay kept her composure and tried to calm down, but still the humor was still inside of her.

"You think he likes you? Is you okay?" Lyndsay said, making a Glozell reference. Hayden rolled his eyes. "I knew I couldn't count on you."

"No, no, I'm sorry, go on." Lyndsay said seriously. "Why do you think he likes you?"

Hayden turned around to the others behind him before he revealed, "He... he kissed me in the locker room the day I defended myself."

Lyndsay's mouth was wide open, "No freaking way. He's gay?"

"Shhh!" Hayden said. "And I don't know..."

"How did you react to it?" Lyndsay asked, curious of how he retaliated, she took a sip from her carton of milk.

"I pushed him away at first, but... I saw that look in his eyes, and I... I kissed him back."

Lyndsay spit out her milk in her mouth and looked at Hayden with a surprised expression.

"Yeah, thanks for spitting cow juice on me." Hayden sighed.

"Dude, you totally have the hots for him!" Lyndsay said. "I'm not even going to lie, he's a cutie."

"I don't have the hots for him, I just... I'm confused. I kissed him again alone and Deno caught us, and I'm lucky as hell that he even forgave me. I just don't know what to say or do around Drake. I feel like he's confused and he doesn't know if he feels for me or not, he put these things all in my head of how we deserve to be together and it just got to me, maybe I do like him back. But I've broken Deno's heart once before and that's something that I don't want to do again."

"Maybe you need to try avoiding him, ignoring him." Lyndsay said.

"I tried that, Lyndsay. I stayed away from school to avoid him, that couldn't work because I'm already doing poorly in classes now as is. I tried talking to Ms. Underwood about my issues, but the more she helps, the more I attempt to think of them. I thought that me being with Deno again would just allow me to forget him, but if it wasn't for Gretchen, I would still let the issue go. My day would have been better if Beiste never paired me up with him yesterday."

"I think that you just need some time to think of what you should do. You say that you don't want to break Deno's heart, but... do you really love him?"

"I do love Deno, I always have ever since I met him. But it seems as if he's shutting me out and he's acting as if he's so close to Gretchen."

"Gretchen is a person that will try to take anyone from you, I'm coming from experience here." Lyndsay said. "But maybe you should think about it -- Deno means a lot to you, but you could just probably have a minor attraction towards Drake. You'll be fine."

Hayden shrugged and sighed as he looked down to his lunch tray. "I'm just really in an awkward situation."

During that time, Tiffany and the rest of the Swagettes were all set at a table of their own, but while all of the girls were talking, Tiffany was wandering off, thinking of something else: her placement in the group.

So here I am in my own group, finally having a chance to fit in. But sometimes... I ask myself, is it worth it? Is it worth taking a risk to your own education and what else you want in life? I honestly could care less. Being with these girls, they are like a family I've never really have. Of course they have flaws. Like this girl...

"Girl, I have a mind like a psychic, I can see into the future, like... I can see re-runs of Moesha and the Parkers coming on my TV." Shontelle said.

"I know that's right, girl." Elise replied and gave her a high-five, Shontelle laughed.

I'm sure I mentioned her before, but there's Shontelle DeCosta. The name caller, the girl everybody in the Swagettes want to party with. From what I know, she says she had a small role in Moesha, obviously, because all she does is flaunt it 24/7.

Elise, Shontelle, and Emily Van Coulter both danced as they sang, "Mo to the, e to the, mo to the, e to the." (a reference to Moesha).

And then there's Emily Van Coulter. The one who hates being called by the way her name is spelled. She's gotten addicted to that Mean Gurlz video, she supposedly changed her name to something she thinks is more simple and unique, but is she a thief?

Tiffany attended Emily's same class as the teacher called her name, she found it difficult to pronounce. "Mile? Male? Milay?"

"Uh-uh, it's pronounced EMILY. M-L-E!"

Tiffany looked at her and shook her head as the teacher raised her eyebrow, as if she was thinking, "Why the hell did your parents name you this?"

You know, it doesn't matter if these girls have flaws, I can understand them, and that's why I'm proud to fit in with an unique group of girls

Deno walked in the hallways that afternoon and attempted to catch up to Gretchen, who was trying to keep quiet and isolate herself from the drama. At that moment, Deno leaned on a locker, trying to talk to her.

"Hey, Gretchen!"

Gretchen turned around and looked at him, and rolled her eyes. "What do you want?" "Just wanted to catch up and talk to you." Deno smiled. Gretchen slammed her locker, and turned around to Deno.

"Okay, Jake Gyllenhaal, what do you want from me? I'm not in the mood for this nice crap you're trying to pull on me. You're just only trying to make me look and feel bad for what happened last week."

"That's not true, I was just being a friend." Deno said. Gretchen glanced at Deno, and scoffed. "Since when did I ever consider you as a friend? I have no friends."

"Exactly, and I think that's what you need at this moment, so that's what I'm trying to be!"

"Look, Darko, I don't need any friends, I'm better on my own, okay? So, why don't you just take your weird self out of my area."

"Why are you always so mean to people?" Deno asked. He began to walk closer to Gretchen at that moment. He held his left hand on one of the lockers and continued to talk. "Especially towards the ones that try to help you and be nice to you."

"I'm surprised that you care." Gretchen rolled her eyes.

"I do care. I just think that you need a friend, and I'm not backing down from this, you're going to hang out with me.. tonight. We'll go to a movie, and I'll take you out to eat. Anything that will at least make you feel better."

"Oh, really? And what would your perfect boyfriend think of this?" Gretchen said with a smirk, she crossed her arms.

Deno quickly replied, "Oh, he wouldn't mind."

"Well, I don't know." Gretchen looked away. "I've made my own plans and I don't really even like you."

"Oh, come on, Gretchen. Don't be so stubborn, just for one night only, and you can... scream at me, beat me up, and tell me to go to hell for all I care. Just one night." Deno smiled.

Gretchen sighed, rolled her eyes and nodded, "Fine, but one NIGHT only."

"Awesome, meet you at eight." Deno winked at her and Gretchen watched as he walked away, she quickly turned around and gave a large smirk and bit her lip and showed a small smile on her face.

After Deno walked away from Gretchen, Hayden caught up to him and wrapped his arm around him, and smiled. "Hey, D."

Deno briefly smiled, "Hey, what's going on?"

"So, what do you think about you and me going together for Kaleesha's sweet sixteen tonight? Pretty cool, huh?" Hayden grinned, until Deno had remembered what he said to Gretchen minutes ago.

"Um, yeah, um, I'm not sure if I will be able to go tonight."

"We always go out together, I thought I had everything planned for us this week, babe." Hayden said pitifully. Deno sighed and looked at Hayden.

"I know, but um, I had plans, I have to take care of some business with my parents and I have to go to an event for my family."

"I mean, do you want me to go with you? I could do that, try to keep you company.. get to know your family and stuff if that's what you want."

"No, no, don't. You don't have to."

"Are you sur--" Hayden tried to ask, until Deno interrupted him, "No, no, go to the party and have fun, go on and celebrate Kaleesha's birthday, and tell her I owe her a present, all right."

"Okay, I guess." Hayden shrugged, he looked a bit upset by the way Deno was acting towards him. Deno began to make his last sentence to Hayden.

"Well, I'll see you around, I'll see you, maybe after football practice." Deno walked away from Hayden, and he expressed misgivings for Deno at that moment. He was upset that Deno was pushing him away so fast, he shrugged and decided to walk to his next class.

As Brooke was reading a novel in her office, she was intrigued as she perused the book as fast as she could. However, her moment was ruined as Sue Sylvester walked inside of her office, likely to start trouble or else.

"Let me guess, you're reading the trilogy of 50 Shades of Grey?" Sue said as she walked inside of the office. "No, I never read anything so dirty in my life." Brooke said as she put her book face down on the desk across from her.

Sue walked closer to her, "Geez, Brooke, the irony is killing me here."

Brooke rolled her eyes, "Sue, what do you want from me? I'm not for any of your antics or statements about what you think I am because what you're assuming is invalid to me."

"Oh my, Little Miss Perfect is using her vocabulary, surprisingly you aren't using your hands at this moment, that's what most por--" Sue was interrupted.

"Shut up." Brooke said, standing up to her. "Okay, I've had enough."

Brooke closed her office door, "Fine, you want to take it there, let's take it there. Unless you have been watching porn or digging into my personal life, it's none of your business if I did so or not unless I've told you."

Sue nodded her head as if she was intrigued in her statements. Brooke continued to talk. "And for the record, you're doing a really poor job of trying to get me fired because assuming that I'm a porn star will obviously make you the creep of them all."

"Oh, trust me, Heather Hunter, you haven't seen the best of me, yet." Sue said.

"Gosh, just stop with the names, my gosh, you're grossing me out already. Get the hell out of my office." Brooke said as she sat back down in her chair. Sue nodded her head.

"This isn't over." Sue said.

"Sadly, this conversation is." Brooke gave a thumbs up out of sarcasm and smiled. Sue walked out of the office and Brooke shook her head in disbelief as she began to re-read her novel.

Jason continued to stand outside of her part of her neighborhood, she felt lost and in a different world and the thought of not having a home began to depress her just as much. All of a sudden, a familiar car drove by, and as she saw, it was Brenden, he began to yell out her name.

"Hey, Jas, come here!"

Jason wasn't pleased by her brother's visit, and as she walked to him, she stood in a far proximity from Brenden. "Can I help you?"

"Look, I know what happened has gotten to you, I'm sorry for it. But Nana and I, we want you to come back home." Brenden said. "Come with me."

"I'd rather not. I'm nothing but a bad influence, right? Besides, you'd have less issues on your hands before you go to college, so what's the point."

"Jason, please just don't make this any difficult than it is right now."

"Oh, so now I'm making things difficult?" Jason said angrily. "Of course, I'm trouble, exactly. Nana doesn't want me back, neither do you. This is some trick just to send me to some other place. My mom and dad don't want me, I can hardly talk to my girlfriend, I've been to jail twice, I've been kicked out twice. Of course my life gets better in the nick of time."

Brenden got out of the car, and closed it shut. He walked to her, but Jason pulled herself back. Brenden sighed, "Look, Jason, you have to realize, my mom and dad didn't want me either, they didn't want any of us."

"There you go thinking of yourself again." Jason crossed her arms. Brenden was tired, and he began to yell.

"Jesus, Jason, for once in your freaking life can you at least hear me out?"

"I HAVE been hearing you out, Brenden, for the rest of my adolescence, all I have been hearing is ME, ME, ME, ME. Do you think I get tired of that? Just go and let me be the black sheep I was born to be, Brenden."

"Jason, please, just get in the car, please. Come home."

"No. You kick me out, you kick me out forever, and that's the way it'll be. Leave me in the cold, nothing to eat or do but smoke and watch people go past me talking trash about how dirty I look. For you, this is my temporary home."

Brenden nodded his head, "Okay, fine. But whenever you change your mind, the door will always be open."

"The door will be locked by the time I'd come, so no." Jason said in a stubborn manner. Brenden walked back to his car, slammed it, jammed his key into the engine and quickly drove away.

Jason stood watching his car drive by, and her insecurities began to show. "Little boy, six years old, a little too used to being alone, another new mom and dad, another school, another house that will never be home, when people ask him how he likes this place, he looks up and says with a smile upon his face."

"This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong," Jason walked down the concrete, the sun shining in her face as she walked past others. "Windows and rooms that I'm passing through, this is just a stop on the way to where I'm going, I'm not afraid because I know this is my temporary home."

"Young mom, on her own, she needs a little help, got nowhere to go, she's looking for a job, looking for a way out, cause a halfway house will never be a home, at night she whispers to her baby girl, "Someday we'll find our place here in this world""

"This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong. Windows and rooms that I'm passing through, this is just a stop on the way to where I'm going, I'm not afraid because I know this is my temporary home."

"Old man, hospital bed, the room is filled with people he loves and he whispers. "Don't cry for me, I'll see you all someday", he looks up and says "I can see God's face""

"This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong. Windows and rooms that I'm passing through, this is just a stop on the way to where I'm going, I'm not afraid because I know this is my temporary home."

"This is my temporary home," Jason sang as she looked all around her - the busy streets and the people walking by her rushing.

After the final bell at McKinley, Kaleesha walked to Kendall without hesitation and sent her an invitation. Kendall slowly took it from her hand and looked at Kaleesha, confused. As she opened up the card, she read the invitation.

"So, I'm inviting you to my sweet sixteen - but that's only if you want to come." Kaleesha said.

"I thought you hated me?" Kendall closed the card and crossed her arms. Kaleesha nodded her head, "I don't. That's what you think. I just don't have trust for you."

"And what motivated you to invite me, then, birthday girl?" Kendall said.

"Because even though I don't know how to trust you as much, I know that you're a person who loves a good time, and I need that kind of atmosphere around me." Kaleesha said. "But, you can say no."

"I'll think about it." Kendall said. Kaleesha nodded, "Fine with me."

Kaleesha walked away from Kendall and left her alone, as Kendall re-read the card and slowly slipped it in one of the open creases in her locker door.

Hayden walked inside of the locker room at that time, but as he made his entrance, all looked at him, and shook their heads. One of the jocks began to confront him at that moment.

"If it isn't King Kong, are you that aggressive? Are you gonna break some bones today?" The jock said. Hayden raised an eyebrow, "What did I do?"

"You think that you're so tough now, because you're a bisexual guy and now you're a badass?"

"What the hell, you guys know me already, I've been a badass ever since I came here, where is all of this coming from?"

Drake was trying to get things from his locker, but at the time, he couldn't help but overhear the confrontation, he wanted to say something so bad. The jocks continued to bash Hayden.

"Who do you think you are, dude? For hurting Drake like that."

"You shouldn't even be on the team, you're a freaking bully."

"Don't be the hypocrites here, guys." Hayden said, attempting to defend himself. "You guys can't assume that I'm a bully because of what I did."

"Face it, you're a bully."

Drake couldn't take it anymore, he slammed his locker and turned around and yelled. "Shut the hell up!"

It was completely quiet as everyone all stared at an infuriated Drake. He turned to look at the jocks. "Don't you have anything else better to do than talk to him like that? Leave him alone."

"But, Drake, dude, he half-way injured you, shouldn't you be beating him up by now?"

"Everyone makes mistakes, Randall, so do you. It's not his fault that I almost broke my leg. It's mine. I told him to push me as hard as he could."

Hayden was surprised as he raised an eyebrow up, the jocks all looked at each other in confusion and Drake continued to speak. "How would you feel if you did that to someone, and you were treated poorly, as if they were a bad person. Hayden did nothing wrong, so my suggestion to you guys is leave him alone or you will have to deal with me."

"Okay, we're sorry, dude." Randall said, he shrugged as he and the rest of the jocks all hit the showers. Hayden missed practice that day, because he was so frustrated with being around the football atmosphere. But still, he was shocked with Drake's actions. He looked at him.

"You know, you didn't have to do that." Hayden said.

"I don't want you to think that I hate you, I had to do something to stop all of this." Drake looked down.

Hayden sighed and looked down, "I'm sorry about your leg, I don't know what had come over me when I tackled you so hard."

"Don't even worry about it, I'm alright." Drake shrugged. "I guess I deserved it after the way I treated you. I should have never hurt you."

Hayden didn't know what to reply after that, it seemed as if he was still uncomfortable with being around him. But Drake sat down on a chair as Hayden stood up. Drake played with his towel, and Hayden just couldn't resist looking at Drake's wet chest, water trickling all of the way down from his shoulders to his abs. He attempted to bite his lip, but he squinted his eyes. Drake began to speak.

"I'm still regretting it to this day that I hurt you, made you feel like trash. The difference between you and I is that unlike me..." Drake scoffed. "You have the most guts to express who you are. And I hated that, I was tired of the fact that everyone could accept you."

"And so..." Hayden shrugged. "That's why you decided to make my life a living hell for the past couple of weeks? Genius."

"I know that what I did was stupid and selfish. Trust me, I do." Drake said.

"And I'm pretty sure that this is the part where you want me to forgive you."

"You don't have to forgive me, Hayden, I was wrong, I know that."

Hayden shrugs, "Whatever," Hayden said as he began to open his locker to search for something inside. Drake continued to speak, but he decided to change the subject.

"Do you remember when we first met in third grade? I sat all alone and you had a couple of friends, but you decided to sit next to me."

Hayden stopped what he was doing, and heard him talking, still looking at the red locker near him.

"I used to look up to you every single day, and I became best friends with you. The day you stood up for me when I was being bullied, I just... I knew ever since that I liked you, more than friends, more than all the crap I put you through weeks ago."

Hayden turned around, and looked at Drake. "Yeah, I remember. I can also remember the day that you turned on me because you thought that I was dating a girl in middle school. I always questioned why you felt so angry about it."

"Jealousy." Drake stood up from the chair, still bare-chested and the water began to dry from his skin. "And now here we are... and you were able to have the guts to express yourself, and I'm lost in my own world, trying to escape."

"Maybe you're just confused, Drake, I don't think you feel for me."

"I'm sure that I love you." Drake said, crossing his arms. "But what am I to do when you're obviously in love with someone else."

"Deno? I don't know about us at this moment, we're just so distant after he found out about us."

"Maybe he doesn't deserve you."

"If this is one one of your little statements to push me into your affection for me, I'd rather not let you do that."

"There's just something that I want to know." Drake said. "How much do you love him? Does he tell you how beautiful you are? Does he comfort you whenever you need someone? Has he ever looked you in your eyes and tell you that you matter? If not, that's what I would do."

Hayden sighed, "I don't think I can hear this right now, I-- I have to go." Hayden looked frustrated as he walked out of the locker room, Drake quickly put on his shirt and straightened up his apparel, and quickly took his exit out of the locker room, to catch up to Hayden.

It was empty at that point and Drake followed him, "Baby, does he do it for you? When he’s finished, does he step back and adore you? I just gotta know 'cause your time is money and I won’t let him waste it. Oh no no."

Hayden turned to look at Drake, and he couldn't believe what he was doing. "Baby, just go with it, cause when you're with me I can’t explain it. It’s just different, we can take it slow or act like you're my girl, let’s skip the basics, whoa, no."

Drake surrounded Hayden in circles, "He’s so replaceable, you're worth the chase you're putting on."

"It’s alright, I'm not dangerous, when you're mine, I'll be generous, you're irreplaceable, a collectible just like fine China."

Hayden leaned on a locker and watched as Drake continued to dance, at that point, he wanted to smile since it attempted to cheer him up from his interaction with Deno.

"Favorite. You're my favorite. It’s like all the girls around me don’t have faces and the saying goes "Life is just a game" but I'm not playin', whoa. He’s so replaceable, you're worth the chase, you're puttin' up."

"It’s alright, I'm not dangerous, when you're mine, I'll be generous, you're irreplaceable, a collectible just like fine China."

"Took me awhile to find your love, ain't no amount of time in this world, save me a lot of time and just love me, feel it, baby, feel it in your soul, are you ready? I know your heart's been telling you you belong to me, ah nah nah no."

Hayden smiled at that moment, and continued to walk with Drake as they made an exit out of the school building. "It’s alright, I'm not dangerous, when you're mine, I'll be generous, you're irreplaceable, a collectible just like fine China."

"I hope that can change your mind." Drake said, catching his breath. Hayden shook his head, trying not to blush.

"You never told me you could sing." Hayden crossed his arms. Drake shrugged, "I have a little music style in me."

"Cool, but... I do love Deno, and I am still a bit confused about what to do." Hayden said. "I'm sorry."

Hayden walked away from him and Drake stood there, disappointed in himself, as Hayden quickly looked back, thinking if what he did was right.

Kaleesha began to prepare for her sweet sixteen that afternoon as she and her grandmother were in her bedroom, she was in the mirror as she looked at herself. She smiled as she put on lipgloss, and her grandmother curled her hair.

"See, nina, you are gonna look so beautiful tonight." Her grandmother said.

"Thanks, abuela." Kaleesha grinned as she took a rotation around, turning to her grandmother and asked, "I look great, don't I?"

"Si, nina." Her grandmother said as she put her hands on her chest out of pride. The doorbell rang and her grandfather had opened up the door downstairs. He smiled, "Why, hello! You must be Cole."

"Indeed I am. And I believe these are for all of you." Cole smiled as he stood with a bouquet of roses in his left hand. The grandfather took them and thanked him warmly.

"Come on in, my good man."

Cole walked in and looked all around Kaleesha's house, complimenting and admiring her home.

Aidan sat in the passenger's seat as Hailey drove her car, Samantha sat in the backseat as she attempted to contemplate about what would happen as she enters Kaleesha's home. What will Cole do? Will he leave and run away? She tapped her fingers on her present for Kaleesha.

Aidan and Hailey were talking to each other, and Aidan was expressing his disdain for his own personal issues. "I know exactly how you feel about Jason, like her, Salvatore has refused to call me even when I needed him."

"Salvatore was pretty quiet until Rihanna week." Hailey shrugged. "He probably had trapped a lot of anger for him to quit."

"I just wish I knew. He acted like someone so different, it's like he was a person that seemed to have no problems."

Hailey continued to drive, only blocks away from Kaleesha's home, and Samantha sighed, "I'm sorry, guys, but can we not talk about guys.. and girls? It's kind of getting to me."

"You like girls too?" Aidan said as he turned around to Samantha, she sighed and gave a serious look. Hailey shook her head, "No, Aidan, she's talking about Cole."

"Oh... right." Aidan said as he turned back around. "I'm sorry, Samantha, I know how hard it is to lose someone like Cole because of what you do."

"This guy who's walking in the sidewalk looks like Salvatore." Hailey said as she had he car lights on to see clearly on the road. Aidan looked Hailey's way and told her to slow down. She did so, and rolled her eyes.

"It's not like my belief is true."

Ironically, it was. Salvatore was walking as quickly as he could with a hoodie on. Hailey drove closer to him, yelling out his name. He stopped, but looked closely and saw that Hailey was calling his name.

Aidan was in shock over the fact that it was him - it's like he never saw him for ages. Salvatore began to stutter, as if he was scared or nervous. "Hey hey, w-w-what are you doing here?"

"We're driving to Kaleesha's sweet sixteen, was that where you were going?"

"No, no, I was heading to Breadstix."

Hailey raised an eyebrow, "But Breadstix is like a mile away back."

"Oh, I forgot, sorry."

"Salvatore, are you okay?" Hailey looked completely concerned. "Ever since you left, you haven't bee--"

"I'm fine." Salvatore said. "I've just been around, you know."

"But not around to call me, huh?" Aidan showed his face, and Salvatore smiled briefly.

"Hi, babe."

"Hi." Aidan said with a sullen voice. It was quiet at that point, but Salvatore began to stutter, "Um, I'm-I'm sorry I didn't call you, Aidan, I've just been--"

"Busy." Aidan said. "The same thing Jason said to Hailey."

"I'm sorry." Salvatore said, continuing to stutter. "I-I-I have to go."

"Wait!" Hailey yelled. "Don't you want to come to Kaleesha's sweet sixteen?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't, I really must go, bye." Salvatore quickly walked away from the car, Aidan crossed his arms and looked away in disappointment. Hailey was confused, but sad at the same time.

"See where drugs can take you?" Samantha said in the back.

"He's not a drug addict, Samantha." Aidan said. "Or is he?"

Gretchen and Deno already went to the movies earlier than expected - Deno wanted to quickly escape from Hayden's proximity to him as quick as possible. The two both went to a restaurant, where 60's music played. They sat at a booth and they both received their food orders.

Gretchen watched embarrassingly as Deno stuffed his face with freshly made potato french fries. She looked disgusted by his actions, but until Deno looked up at Gretchen, he was abashed and decided to wipe his face off. "Hmm, sorry. I kind of get a little carried away when I eat."

"I can... see that." Gretchen said.

"Why haven't you eaten your food yet?" Deno said as he took a sip from his cup of Sprite.

"Because I like eating by myself." Gretchen crossed her arms and Deno chuckled, "So, you're telling me I took you out to the movies and here for nothing?"

"Now do you see why I have no friends?" Gretchen said. "Why are you being so nice to me?"

Deno looked at Gretchen and ate a french fry slowly before he replied. As he took a gulp, he replied, "Because I've been in your shoes."

"When I was in elementary school, I didn't have any friends." Deno said. "When I first began to introduce myself, people used to call me Freaky Emo."

"Freaky Emo?" Gretchen said. "Really?"

"And people used to tease me because they thought that my last name came from the movie, Donnie Darko. So, that's why I was isolated in elementary. I was just so hurt with myself, I've gotten so angry at times that I would want to hit every person that hated me. But I'm not that type of person, so I just had to deal with it or face the consequences."

"Sounds like you've had an interesting life." Gretchen said sarcastically. Deno replied back with sarcasm, "Of course."

"I just don't find myself wanting friends, I have been bullied all of my life, and I guess that I thought that it was okay for me to bully others back because it was more like vengeance to me." Gretchen said. "But, I never had friends because all of the people I wanted to be friends with were the popular kids. I was an outsider looking for a place in the pretty world. They never thought I was pretty, so I just decided to be pretty bitchy."

"You are a gorgeous girl, Gretchen, don't let anyone try to tell you that you aren't. Sometimes, the prettier you are, the uglier your personality is." Deno said. "You're just a girl that is wanting to come out of your shell. Be yourself, you don't have to be like the other girls just to feel like you fit in, that's the lesson I learned to this day. You're pretty."

Gretchen gave a smirk as she decided to eat a fry, "Are you hitting on me?"

"If that's what you want to call it, then yes." Deno winked at her, and Gretchen gazed into his eyes, and smiled.

"See, you're smiling!" Deno said. "Why haven't I saw that before?"

Gretchen shrugged, "I only smile whenever someone has a reason to make me smile, maybe you were the reason."

Deno smiled back at her.

While Kaleesha's sweet sixteen is occurring, Kaleesha is still not downstairs yet as she is almost finished with her fresh apparel for her birthday. Downstairs are Cole, Hayden, Hailey, Samantha, Matthew, Lyndsay, Aidan, and surprisingly Kendall, who held a gift for her in a wrapped present box.

Although everyone talked to each other, Cole sat down on the same couch next to Samantha. Cole tried to ignore her, he gave her a quick glance and looked away. It was tense, and Cole was completely stressed at that moment.

If I had knew Samantha was coming to this party, I would have never came - that's a bit selfish of me, though. I know that it's been weeks since I broke up with her, but still I'm a bit of a person that has trust issues, and I just still feel hurt by it. But, I came here for Kaleesha and only for Kaleesha because it's her birthday today and she deserves my presence.

Kaleesha came downstairs, and as they did, everyone, with the exception of Kendall smiling, clapped and cheered for Kaleesha. She had a large grin on her face as she saw everyone there for her. Cole smiled, and at that moment, he thought to himself, she is so beautiful.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get this party started!" Kaleesha cheered out, with much agreement from the others. Her grandmother smiled with her hands folded together.

"You think we should have bought her a car?" Her abuela asked her grandfather. Her grandfather looked at her and nodded his head.

"Hello, wherever you are, are you dancing on the dance floor or drinking by the bar? Tonight we do it big, and shine like stars. We don't give a what cause that's just who we are." Kaleesha had sang as the stereos blasted with a song. Cole smiled as she walked to him and sang.

"And we are, we are we are, we are we are the crazy kids, them crazy, them crazy kids, and we are, we are we are, we are we are, the crazy kids, we are the, we are the crazy people."

"I see ya in the club showin' Kaleesha love, trippin' on them bitches that be hatin', catch a dub, catch a deuces, ya'll hatins useless, it's such a nuisance, ya'll chickens keep your two cents and keep your dollars, keep your loot. Kalee don't give two bucks, I cam to start the ruckus and ya wanna party with us cause we crazy kids, sucker!"

"Hello, wherever you are, are you dancing on the dance floor or drinking by the bar? Tonight we do it big, and shine like stars. We don't give a what cause that's just who we are." New Directions all sang.

"And we are, we are we are, we are we are the crazy kids, them crazy, them crazy kids, and we are, we are we are, we are we are, the crazy kids, we are the, we are the crazy people."

"You see us in the place trippin' off the bass, D-D-DJ rock a beat, make the sucker shake like an earthquake, like an earthquake. BOOTY POP, all my shorties on the dancefloor, make your hearts stop," Cole had rapped, Kaleesha continued to smile.

Hayden had taken the spotlight as he rapped, "Stop your Cardiac, sippin' Cognac in the back, th-they ch-chasin my kitty cat, they know my zodiac, I'm no virgin or no Virgo, I'm crazy that's my word doe, it's Russo in the casa, they be let-lets make it LOCO!"

"Hello, wherever you are, are you dancing on the dance floor or drinking by the bar?" Lyndsay sang.

"Tonight we do it big, and shine like stars. We don't give a what cause that's just who we are." Samantha and Lyndsay sang.

"And we are, we are we are, we are we are the crazy kids, them crazy, them crazy kids, and we are, we are we are, we are we are, the crazy kids, we are the, we are the crazy people." New Directions sang.

"This is all we got and then it's gone, you call us the crazy ones," Lyndsay and Kaleesha sang.

"But we gon' keep on dancin' till' the dawn," Hayden and Cole sang.

"Cause you know the party never ends, and tomorrow we gonna do it again, we the ones who play hard." Hayden, Cole, Lyndsay and Kaleesha sang. "We live hard, we love hard, we light up the dark!"

Everyone cheered, and Kaleesha and Cole smiled at each other, and Hayden and Lyndsay hugged, as the rest of them did also.

That night, Principal Figgins began to depart from the school headquarters and attempted to get into his car, but Sue Sylvester sat on the trunk of his car, waiting for him to arrive. He jumped at first, and saw her blue tracksuit.

"I've been waiting for you."

"Look, Sue, I haven't been doing any more infomercials, please don't try to blackmail me."

"I'm not going to." Sue said. "Unless you do something for me and me only." "And what is that?" Figgins asked.

"Fire Brooke Underwood." Sue said with an evil accent. Figgins raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"What? Are you crazy? She's been doing a great job, what do you have against her?!" Figgins said.

Sue walked closer to Figgins, "Now, if you were working with someone who was hiding a secret, wouldn't you want to know."

"Of course, I've been wondering if you'd been hiding any other skeletons in your closet lately." Figgins replied.

Sue Sylvester crossed her arms, "Has she ever put that she's a pornographic sensation on her resume?"

"No, and why would she do that? I don't think she's a porn star."

"Don't be so gullible." Sue said.

"Now, Sue, it's not right to judge someone off of how they act or how they are towards other people. I'm not going to comply by your demands, I'm the principal and when I see an issue, I can handle it myself." Principal Figgins said. "Have a nice night, Sue."

Figgins got into his car and drove off, but Sue was still anxious to do whatever she could to cause Brooke to get fired.

Hayden was sitting alone in the couch, awaiting a text back from Deno, as he gave him a message, plz answer, we need 2 tlk. Hayden sighed and played with his phone. Music blasted loudly from the speakers in the living room, and Lyndsay walked over to him.

"Hey, you okay?" Lyndsay said.

Hayden looked as if he was sad, but he looked up and smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Get up and dance with me, come on." Lyndsay tries to pull him up from the chair, but Hayden hesitates at first, smiling. "I don't know. I'm a bit tired."

"Not too tired to dance with me, Russo, get your ass up!" Lyndsay pulled him up and Hayden laughed and rolled his eyes, "All right, fine."

Kendall had stood in the living room, watching everyone enjoy themselves, as Kendall walked up to her, she looked at her, and gave a half-smile. "Glad you came."

Kendall briefly smiled back, "The party doesn't happen until I walk in. But, happy birthday."

"Thanks." Kaleesha smiled. It was a bit awkward at first since there was silence, but Kendall gave Kaleesha a box.

"A present from me." Kendall said.

Kaleesha shook the box and looked at Kendall and scoffed, "Are you sure it isn't a bomb in here or something?"

"Oh come on, I'm not that psycho." Kendall said as she and Kaleesha both walked into the dining room as Kaleesha tried to put the present with the others, and they continued to talk, until they both spotted Kaleesha's grandmother in the kitchen, looking completely stunned as the grandfather tries to console her, Kendall and Kaleesha overheard them talking.

"Tonight isn't the right time to tell her, Tomas." Abuela said fearfully.

"I know but she's going to have to know either way."

"Hey, abuela, is everything okay?" Kaleesha closely walked to her and tried to rub her back.

"Kaleesha, I think there's something that we need to tell you... I don't know how you may take it." Her grandfather said.

Kaleesha looked at Kendall and back at the parents, and looked very concerned, Wait, w-what's going on?"

Her grandmother turned around and took a deep breath, "Sweetheart, I don't think you should worry, don't worry about it, enjoy your party."

"No, no, tell me, it wouldn't be fun if it wasn't for you guys, so just tell me. Please. What is going on?"

It was silent and Kendall was confused, but she decided to push herself away. "Um, I'll leave you guys alone, if that's okay." Kendall walked away from the kitchen and went into the living room, and she looked bit concerned.

"Guys, something's going on in the kitchen." Kendall said. "I don't know what's wrong."

Kaleesha looked at her grandmother one more time, "Abuela, what is wrong?" Her grandmother looked down in hurt and pain and she looked back up at her. "Sweetheart, I have cancer."

Kaleesha's eyes widened, she couldn't believe it when she heard what her grandmother had told her.

Kaleesha stood in the same spot as she did when she found out that her grandmother has cancer. She shook her head, attempting to believe that what she saying isn't true, she sounded as if she would tear up.

"No, this can't be true, abuela. Cancer?" Kaleesha said.

Her abuela was completely stunned by her reaction, and she nodded, "I'm afraid so, sweetheart, but we're-"

"So, why haven't you told me anything about this? You just wanted me to wait after my birthday just for you to tell me this?"

"No, we were going to tell you, we just... had to figure out when, hon." Her grandfather said.

"I wish I would have known sooner, I would have stopped this sweet sixteen, I would have forgotten about my own birthday just to be there for you, I feel so selfish." Kaleesha said. A tear slowly fell from her eye, until Abuela grabbed a tissue on the counter and wiped it off.

"No tears."

"But what about the phrase, "it's my party and I can cry if I want to?"" Kaleesha's grandfather said. Her grandmother looked at him in angst.

"Baby doll, I don't know how I'm gonna get through this, but.. we're gonna try and find a way how. We just have to hope and pray that everything will be okay. I didn't want to tell you this because I didn't want you to worry yourself like you're doing now."

Kaleesha shook her head and started to sob, she resisted looking in her grandmother's face and watching her talk. She walked out of the kitchen and she left to the living room, her abuela tried to follow her until she left out of the door.

"Hey, Kaleesha!"

"Kaleesha, wait!"

"Is everything all right, Ms. Rueda?" Matthew asked. Ms. Rueda nodded her head and gave a short smile, but still felt bad for Kaleesha's feelings.

Cole looked at the door, confused with what was going on.

"We're just having a little tough time right now, we'll be fine. Go on, everyone, have fun." Ms. Rueda said as she slowly walked up the stairs with Mr. Rueda. They both walked to the bedroom and the two both looked each other, silent and tense.

Ms. Rueda began to cry herself, and Mr. Rueda came to her for comfort. "It's okay, Miriam. It's okay. We're gonna get through this."

"Tomas, I doubt it." Ms. Rueda replied in tears.

Kaleesha walked outside in tears, walking back and forth on the sidewalks as she looked at the other houses near her. She had dreamed that she wasn't in a safer and better enviroment then where she was now. All of the thoughts in her mind about her grandmother, Kendall talking about her struggle with poverty, things all came back to her now.

In her mind, she was back in the poor section of Brooklyn, New York, where she saw people walking around her facing similar things she faced. When she walked around, she watched as a mother began to yell at her child.

"Ain't no daddy's where I'm from, it's just mad mothers, and eyes that still seem they can't look past color." Kaleesha sang. "Why am I disrespected by someone I should call brother?"

"Move, bitch." A guy said as he walked past another girl in the neighborhood. The girl turned back around and slapped him. "Who are you calling a bitch?"

"And why girls feel unpretty and constantly hate each other?"

"Bad air in my lungs, man I can't breathe, my eyes burnin' from all the dirt and the debris and it's third degree, emotionless on the scene. It's like a disease the way y'all killin' me."

"I'm 16 and I shouldn't have to feel like this. I'm 16, every young boy out here wanna kiss. I'm 16, and me and my mama goin' through it, 16 on the block, 16 on the block."

"16, At war, 16, At war, 16, At war, 16, At war, 16, At war, 16, At war, 16 on the block, 16 on the block."

"Around here cool is another word for fool, if he smoke then she smoke, I gotta smoke too. Now what would I do if I didn't have a clue? I'm 16 Y.O, asking God oh why, oh. If my clothes ain't tight, then he ain't gone like me. Eyes on the prize, so the next girl dress just like me. I'm so full of promise, but why promise if I'm gonna just be rewarded by bad actions to him I'm just a transaction."

"I want you to love my mind, my smile, my style, I want you to know the best of me, I want to belong without being treated like property, why does this seem like a fantasy?"

Kaleesha snapped out of her flashback, and she looked all around and everything was the same again, she still was distraught by the news she was given, she sat on a step outside of the home and folded her arms and looked up.

"Please find a way to help my abuela, there has to be a way."

Jason stood outside that night and as other people were leaving, she gave them handshakes. Jason felt as if she was hungry, and as she walked, she spotted a store, when she walked in, the door bell rang as she opened the door, and people at the counter were paying for others and their items. When Jason had her hoodie on, she attempted to walk to the snack stand where the cashiers couldn't see, she looked over there and looked back down and she hid 2 bags of chips in her hoodie pockets.

When Jason tried to leave out without anyone knowing, a cashier noticed a bag of chips in one of her pockets. She asked her, "Hey, are you gonna pay for that?" Jason quickly ran out of the store and the cashier attempted to run after her. "Hey, hey! You're supposed to pay for that!"

Jason ran as fast as she could, she panted and ran like a cheetah in danger and she couldn't help but run as fast as she could to escape from the cashier.

"Don't ever come back to my store no more!" The cashier walked back into the store and Jason laid on a wall outside, panting and trying to catch her breath.

When she checked her pockets, she realized one of her chip bags dropped out of her pockets and she stomped her foot. "Damn it."

Running over a bag of chips? Really? Jason thought to herself.

Suddenly, a driver came near with a red car, likely a new and refurbished edition of a Toyota, it slowly stopped at that point, and she heard a similar voice. "Jason?"

Jason looked up and realized that it was Holly. Holly stopped her car and stepped out, silently slamming the door. Her heels clicked the ground at that point as she walked up to her. "Why are you all here by yourself? Why aren't you at home?"

At first, Jason didn't reply as she looked down to the ground and played with her fingers. Holly called her name once again, "Jason, answer me."

Jason shrugged, "I don't have a home."

Holly was stunned, "You don't have a home?"

"This here is my home." Jason said. "My grandmother kicked me out and now I'm living in the streets."

"Can you contact anyone else in your family?"

"They are either dead or I am dead to them." Jason said. 'That's just the way it goes in my life."

It was silent as first as Holly thought of something, she sighed. "Come with me, you're gonna stay with me tonight."

"I'm not sure that's supposed to sound pedophilish or not."

"It's not, trust me." Holly chuckled. "I'm not gonna leave you out here like this, you look hungry."

Jason took out a bag of chips from her pocket and showed it to her. Holly scoffed. "That's not enough. Come on, I'll get you freshened up and we'll get some chinese food, my treat."

"Enough for a cheap person." Jason slowly stood up and replied to Holly, she scoffed. "Well, what do you have in mind?"

"Just take me to the latest Wendy's or Burger King and I'll be fine." Jason said, crossing her arms.

Holly shook her head, "Whatever you say."

Holly and Jason got into the car and Holly asked, "Buckle your seatbelt?"

Jason had already done so and Holly smiled and drove away.

Gretchen and Deno were in a shocking position together in the car as Gretchen made a move on him - they were romantically making out with each other. While at first, Deno seemed as if he couldn't resist it, Gretchen started to become aggressive. The temperature in the car gotten completely warm, and Deno could feel it, but couldn't tolerate it. He slowly pushed himself away.

"Um, I don't know if I could do this. Wouldn't this be considered as cheating for my perspective?"

"If THAT's what you want to call it then, yes." Gretchen made an effort to kiss him once more, until he pushed himself away again. "Wait."

Gretchen sighed, "What?"

"I-I-I don't know if I can do this, Gretchen. I'm too faithful."

"Oh please, dude. Consider this as your revenge, your oh-so faithful boyfriend made out with his own enemy twice. So why can't you make out with me?"

"Now, Gretchen, I know that he did it, but he made a --"

"A mistake? If that's so then... why aren't you at that party with him right now? What if... your reason for taking me here was to make out with me for revenge." Gretchen said. "If that's so I would kick your ass because it's genius."

Deno thought to himself - Gosh, is she that desperate for my affection? Or am I desperate to get back at Hayden for what he did to me. Kissing Gretchen is wrong, I know it, but... maybe she has a point. What the hell, you only live once.

Deno pulled Gretchen in for a romantic kiss and they continued this action until they were ready to leave.

Although Kaleesha wasn't calm from her issues she began to face, she opened up the house door and when she entered the house, a birthday cake was in her grandfather's hands. She saw everyone smiling at her, at least for support, when they began to sang for her.

"Happy birthday to you... happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Kaleesha, happy birthday to you." They sang slowly.

Kaleesha smiled only for a brief moment, and she nodded, "Thanks everyone, well, um, for coming, and thanks for this moment. But, if you guys don't mind, I think I'm going to take a little break in my room."

Kaleesha walked up the stairs and everything looked different now for the others. They felt horrible for her. Her grandmother sighed after hearing Kaleesha's door close. She walked upstairs.

"I'll handle this everyone." Miriam said as she walked up the stairs to knock on her door.

Kaleesha sat at the edge of her bedroom pouting and tapping her feet back and forth on the ground. She heard a quick but silent knock on the door. She replied, "Come in."

When Miriam opened the door, Kaleesha looked at her and turned away. She sighed and tried to put a smile on her face. "Aren't you a bit lonely up here in your room?" Kaleesha didn't feel like answering, Miriam sighed again and she sat down next to Miriam at the edge of her bed.

"You know, I remember when you were a newborn baby. When I first saw you, and held you, it just felt like I was a mother again. I said, "this is the most precious person to ever come into Earth."

Kaleesha looked at her and asked, "You said that?"

"I did, and I'm correct. That's what you are." Miriam said. "You're precious because you have a good heart. You care for people a lot, even those that you may want to knock out, like the Kendall girl, surprisingly you invited her."

"I just wanted to be nice." Kaleesha chuckled.

"Obviously, sweetheart. You're a good girl, and you have all of your dreams surrounding you, don't let them go. You do not have to worry about me, I'm gonna be fine."

"But what if you aren't, abuela, it was just hard for me just to lose my mother and my father at once. If I could just see the both of them for one last time, it would just mean a lot."

"I know, it was hard for me too, hon. That was my son, my only child, the person I wnated to grow up to be a man. And you know, that's exactly who he was. Your mother, she was a good woman, she was just very lost in a cold world on her own, she needed guidance. Sometimes I just wish that I would have stopped her from that fight."

"I just don't want to lose another person that's close to my heart, abuela. You and grandpa are the only ones that I have right now." Kaleesha said, a tear began to shed.

"Now, what did I tell you about crying? Don't cry for me. I am going to be fine, believe me. I just have to believe, we have to believe. If I can get cured, I'd try to stay longer as much as I can, but right now, we just need to hope. Can you do that for me? Just not worry, please?"

Kaleesha sniffled, wiped a tear from her eye and she nodded her head. "Yes, abuela."

She hugged her and Miriam rubbed her back. "Now, come on, it's your birthday, let's make the most out of it."

"Um, before I do, can I go back for some fresh air?"

"Any thing you need to feel better." Miriam said.

"I love you."

"I love you, too, hon." Miriam said as Kaleesha walked out of the room. She sighed, and smiled, "She's going to be a strong woman."

Cole stood outside at that moment, he sat on a step as he folded his fingers and looked up at the sky, he sighed. But until Kaleesha had opened the door, Cole looked back and he stated, "I wondered when you would come back."

Kaleesha chuckled, "I just needed a little time to think." She sat down next to Cole and he looked at her and replied.

"I heard what's going on with your grandmother." Cole said sympathetically. "I'm sorry, I mean, I could vent if I had to, but, you know, some things in my life isn't as similar as yours."

"It's okay." Kaleesha said. "I just need to hope that things will work out right fot her, and maybe something good will come out of it."

Cole nodded his head, "You're a good role model, you know that? Other people aren't even like you. You're strong for trying to do something like that."

"Really? Even I don't think I'm a role model. After what I did to Kendall." Kaleesha chuckled.

Cole scoffed and nodded his head. "Over that one thing? I've heard that many others say that they wouldn't even have the guts to even do what you did. Not even me, and I say things that ruin people."

"Like Jason's?"

"Yeah." Cole sighed. "And maybe Samantha, but..."

"I'm surprised you'd even come. Samantha didn't even want to go, and I made her." Kaleesha said.

"I didn't really say anything to her all night, somehow, I want to keep it that way." Cole said. "The only reason why I came here tonight is for you."

"I'm sorry that I ruined half of the party with my dramatic attitude." Kaleesha sighed.

"Impossible." Cole said. "That statement is just impossible. I can say that this is the best night ever, despite your little news, you know?"

"I guess you're right." Kaleesha said.

"You're so beautiful." Cole said, suddenly, it was like he looked at her with his eyes, and Kaleesha gazed back and smiled, "Thanks."

"Which is why I have given you a little present, I'm sorry I didn't give it to you before, I was thinking of when and where to give it, but I think now is the best time. Stand up."

"Okay." Kaleesha stood up, befuddled with what Cole was trying to do. Kaleesha stood in front and Cole stood from behind and after that, Kaleesha could feel a tickle on her neck.

When she looked down, she saw a gold necklace with the letter K in front. She gasped and squealed with amiability.

"Oh my gosh, it's so beautiful." Kaleesha took a look at the necklace and she turned around to Cole. "Did you do this?"

"Well, my mom works at a jewelry store, and I begged her to create one for you." Cole giggled. "Consider this a birthday gift from me to a beautiful girl named Kaleesha."

Kaleesha blushed and giggled, "Thanks, Cole, you're the best." She hugged him and Cole hugged her back tightly, but at that moment, something happened. It was silent, it was a little cold and crickets chirped.

Cole slowly pulled back and Kaleesha pulled herself back also.

They both stared at each other helplessly and all of a sudden, Cole slowly made a move, trying to press his lips against Kaleesha's, who was completely stunned and unsure of what to do. It was as if she wanted him to kiss her, but she didn't know what to think. At that moment, their lips were pressed together and they kissed, until Kaleesha made a stop.

"Um, whoa." Kaleesha giggled, she began to stutter. "Um, um, maybe we should go back inside."

Cole shook his head. "Um, yeah, yeah, um, it's getting a bit chilly."

As Cole and Kaleesha tried to forget about what happened as tehy continued to talk, little did they know, Samantha was at the window watching them and she looked out of envy, out of shock and out of hurt. She deplored what she saw and she sighed and moved away from the window.

"So, that's why you were absent for weeks?" Holly said as she took a bite from a cheeseburger, Jason sat on the floor with her as they ate together on a table. She nodded.

"Basically. I just had a lot on my mind at the time and I didn't want to be a wreck for you all while I was having my own problems. Just what Cole said got to me, also."

"I did talk to him about that, I think I'm going to enforce the rule about bullying and hurting other peers." Holly said. "It's kind of gotten all of us in a hole lately and I doubt we're ready for Sectionals. Have you talked to Salvatore lately?"

"Hardly." Jason said. "Last time I saw him, we got out of being arrested."

"You guys got arrested?" Holly raised both of her eyebrows. "For what?"

"We were accused of selling drugs just because we were near them." Jason felt guilty for lying to Holly, but she didn't want her to do or say things to cause her to go back to rehab.

"Unfair." Holly shook her head. "Are you coming back or thinking of coming back to both McKinley and Glee?"

Jason sighed, "I mean, I do, I really miss Hailey, I kind of abandoned her a bit and that's my biggest regret. I also miss Kaleesha, I missed her birthday and I'm stupid of that too. In other words, maybe I'll think about it."

"Whatever your choice is, I can accept."

"Thanks, Ms. Holiday." Jason said. "Although I don't want to mess up your apartment, um, can I use your bathroom? I think this Burger King shake has gotten to me already."

"Sure, feel free, it's to the left." Holly said. Jason stood up and looked at Holly, "You must not know about me." Jason winked.

"I see what you did there." Holly giggled. Jason walked to the bathroom. She quickly shut the door and locked it, as she looked around, she grabbed her cellphone with her and she quickly called someone.

A phone rang as someone is seen picking up his phone with one of his hands, as he answered, he replied, "Hello?"

"Hello, Kai? It's Jas."

"What's up, I'm a bit busy." Kai replied quickly. Jason tried to reply, "Hey, um, do you still have any more of those drugs on you?"

"That's something I don't think I can answer." Kai said. "I told you I'm done with that. Go call someone else, bro, I'm busy."

"Oh, come on, Kai, I nee--, hello? Hello?" Kai had hung up the phone, but he was busy. Busy with something you'd never expect.

"Who was that, babe?" A girl said. "Was it that bitch, Kendall?"

"No, it wasn't. Just continue to kiss me, I only have 15 minutes." Kai said as he began to kiss Brianna and make out with her.

Jason stomped the floor and groaned with anger. But she looked at the mirror and believed that Holly had some type of drugs to heal.

A doorbell had rang, and Holly stood up to get it. As she opened up the door, it was Brooke Underwood. She smiled, but was surprised.

"Hi! What a pleasant surprise."

"Hey!" Brooke smiled.

"Come on in!" Holly said politely, she walked in, but at the same time, she looked a bit nervous. Holly turned around and she continued to smile. When Brooke sat down on a couch next to her, Brooke looked at the mess made on the floor.

"Has someone else been here, looks like you've been having a good fast-food time." Brooke chuckled.

"Yeah, of course, I eat a lot, so I have to put a bit of meat on my bones, you know."

"Ah." Holly said.

"So, what are you doing here?" Holly smiled.

Jason was overhearing the conversation continuing, "Well, I was just on my way around here just to tal.."

She closed the door and she locked it once again, but this time, she began to open up the counter, and she saw nothing but tooth paste, mouthwash and she saw a prescription pill bottle up top. She took it and she looked and it was a drug that said "to relieve stress and anxiety."

"Exactly what I need."

She quickly popped the cap, and she began to take almost a lot of the pills out from the bottle and when she did, she put some in a plastic bag she had laying in her pockets. She poured them in and she quickly closed the cap, put it back in its place and closed the counter. As she opened the door, she had continued to over hear Brooke and Holly's conversation.

"She wants you fired?" Holly said. Brooke sighed, "Principal Figgins called me and said I had war in my hands. She doesn't like me."

"She thinks that you're some type of porn star."

Jason slowly walked out of the bathroom and continued to earhustle, and raised her eyebrows in confusion.

"Well, there's something I want to reveal to you. You, only you and no one else." "My lips are sealed, what's wrong?"

"Well, I know that I haven't been as honest as I should be. I know that I moved on with my life but the truth is... I am a porn star."

Holly's mouth dropped a bit and Jason's eyes widened as she heard it. When Jason accidentally hit the wall. Holly and Brooke heard a bump, but still, Holly was in shock.

Jason pulled herself back at that moment, scared to see what would happen next.
